How do I quit 4chan?
I've been here since 08 I don't want to be here forever someone please God help me
Sorry anon. I've been stuck here since 2001, no good advice. The only reprieve I've had was during a massive storm and no power or Internet avaliable, pre smart phones

Don't visit 4chan.org
you need to find something more stimulating than here or get a hobby that you like or enjoy that takes up majority of your time. eventually you'll get bored of this place

Normie tier advice, fuck off.
People come to 4chan for the same reason the go to porn sites, waste time on YT, smoke when they don't even have a craving. It's a form of addiction, it's a source of short bursts of pleasure, amusement, feelings. It's a quick dose of escape from reality they're in, outside of these small things people have to face themselves, their problems, their goals, the world, the people and so on. All of this is a distraction, just dropping it out of the blue to pursue something bigger but over a long period of time is shitty advice for that requires a strong will which many people lack. It requires discipline. What these people need is a different stimulus they can transition over to, instead of browsing 4chan they can do something else minor but that brings rewards, replacing each weak moment of internet indulgence with a moment of shaping one self, and the internet should be a reward in the end like a candy, to relax and wind back.
These addictions are a pitfall, a way of escapism, of easy entertainment that numbs you and blinds you to everything but the moment you're in.
Take your normie advice and shove it up your ass.
been here since 06-07you can't leave
