Im starting university in march in order to keep my centerlink payments coming.

How hard is uni? Ive been told the study-load is approx 8-10 hours per unit. I decided to take on 4 units per week. So that's basically 40 hours study load. That seems like a lot.......

It all depends on what classes you're taking, can't really give a general idea

Criminology. It's 2 units per week to finish it in 4 years. But I am doing 4 units per week to finish it in 2.

Why didn't you just choose a TAFE course? Certificate 3 and 4 in anything is at a grade 10 level.

Because I want a degree to say I have one.

That's wrong. There's 168 hours in a week and people take 12 or 15 units (12 is a full time student). 12 unit students aren't spending 96 fucking hours a week studying.

are they midgets??

You spend 4 hours in class and it's recommended to study 2 hours per unit, so that's only 12 hours a week, that's not bad at all like a day and a half of full time work.

Did you find toni's 25 hours slave labour a week + 10 job applications per day too difficult?

It made me quit the system

I was on job-seeker before that was implemented.

I was about to be rolled over onto that.

But then I decided If im going to be on centerlink, I might as well get paid to get a bachelor degree, instead of just doing stupid shit on jobseeker which was getting me nowhere.

I know degrees are considered "useless" on 4chan, but something tells me having one is better than not having one, regardless of how stupid it is...especially since the government is paying for it.

Depends on the University, the course and how well you know the subject you're studying.
