Does /r9k/ have a car?
>2013 A4 my dad bought me
Nah I walk or take public transportation. Its why im skinny because i walk everywhere, which is also the best way to kill time
Bet your car has good speakers though, thats the best thung about cars imo.
Audi A4 2003 here
btw Congratulations from Germany
I have a 2010 honda accord and a 2015 kawasaki ninja 300
Wondering what to replace the accord with, it's already at 70,000 miles. Thinking of getting a cheap older but not preowned mustang in a manual.
2000 toyota avalon v6
it is so fucking comfy and it is basically a cheaper lexus. driving in the winter with heated seats and leather interior makes me feel like a boss
I drive a 2013 scion tc and I reaaaaaaally want a new car.
Never even wanted it but my old car which was a 1995 Toyota 4runner literally just shut down on me in the middle of the highway.
Had to go to the dealership the next day and slave my wages away for 5 years. The TC was the only car they had that wasn't a versa or a used prius.
I have too much social anxiety to get a driver's license and even if I could I would worry about all car driver problems like the car stopping and you have to call someone to help you or get out in the middle of the traffic to try to fix it with all the normies staring at you. Or maybe crash with something and have to deal with all the social situations it causes.
I don't, but I really need to get one though, I'm 24 and live in Cali. The fact that I manged to get this far in is pretty unusual. But it seems impossible I live almost paycheck to paycheck.
>have had my driver's license for years
>have never owned a car
I don't even know why I have it.
I have a shitty 2010 focus. I don't really like it, but it was paid in cash, cheap to own, and is reliable enough to to last me until I'm done university so meh. I'm a bit tempted to sell it, buy a shitty sunfire or cavalier, and travel with the rest of the money but at the same time it's still newish reliable transportation.
I have a cheap motorcycle for summer fun.
only 93k miles on it
a brand new transmission is cheap
didn't buy with daddy's money
wiring issue that i have yet to solve that results in the radio/cig lighter shorting and blowing a fuse every time, so no radio/cig lighter port
it's shows that i'm poor
no electronic windows or locks
all in all it's not so bad. the lack of music is the biggest issue but i just use IEMs in the car.
Fuck yeah I miss my 95 ex coupe, had power everything and was my project/daily, miss that little red bastard, pic related
>yfw that damage would cost more than the car to repair
my car has a big dent on the side not pictured with a black mark because some 87yo backed into my car with her jeep and the spare tire on the back scraped the side of my car.
the repair job was worth more than the car so i just pocketed the money and pounded out the dent as best i could from inside. haven't gotten around to buffing out the black mark yet.
>tfw can get a decent car without having to worry about a bitch eating at my money.
Not my car though, but exact same color and different rims
Counting down the days until May when my mom and dad are buying me a 2016 Toyota Tacoma. I can't fucking wait
Currently driving 2006 Ford Taurus
lmfao Miatas are for cucks
Last year with my friends. Was a blast.
Here's my old car at centre parcs when I went with my ex female acquaintance 2 years ago
nice, I went with family in the summer, wasn't as bad as I was expecting desu
I was bought this a few months ago, still learning to drive. Embarrassing for a 23 year old, on that fiesta hype
They're pretty decent cars. I bought mine with 45,000 miles on it and it was an 04 plate.
Had it for 2 years and did 9,000 miles on it and never had one major problem with it. Only changing brake pads and tyres
Don't do that shit ever again, pal. No emoticons are used here.
A non shit driving instructor. It all comes down to the actual day of the driving test. You could be a solid driver when you're not under pressure but come that day, you might be shite.
Took me about 16 lessons. I'd been riding a moped so I had road sense. Failed my test once. had 2 refresher lessons and passed it second time.
I'd say about 20/30 lessons you should be good to go but I'm not a driving instructor. It's my opinion.
I love it. Surprisingly responsive as well once you've got it up to a decent speed.
Its got 110k kms on it (about 70k miles) and it's still brilliant.
I bought this in October.
Love it desu senpai.
Everyone hates how it looks but it's beautiful and for me.
