1 hour before bed, take 50mg of benadryl (either pill form or zzzquil, pill is cheaper)
just before going to sleep, drink a cup of chamomile tea
when you finish the tea, take a melatonin pill and immediately turn off all lights and lay in your bed
optionally take some picamilon with the melatonin, which is a weak anti-anxiety drug. should stop thoughts from rushing so much. also acts as a vasodilater, which will make breathing through your nose easier.
Every time I try to get some sleep, my 90 years old grandma comes to my room to help her turn on the TV because she's fucking retarded. Whenever I ignore her for too long she starts screaming louder and louder, and this is driving me insane.
