also, to be honest, the average job a robot would get will probably pay them about the same, perhaps even less. I'm currently working part time and earning $500/mo, if I can't get a second job soon I'm getting autismbux. fuck dragging myself out of bed, commuting for an hour, working my ass off, then commuting again 3 days a week (and before you ask, no I can't get more hours), just for the same amount of money I could get by whining to the government

>>
>>26153517
yeah, but services and infrastructure suck in rural and even sometimes suburban areas. as much as I enjoyed living in Sonoma, the dialup tier internet speeds, the 4 mile walk to the shop (and much further to the nearest one worth a damn), the near total lack of public transport are all things I found it very hard to live with

I'm on disability(fibromyalgia and depression) but I supplement by selling things on Ebay and Etsy so I can do fun things and save for the future. I have to be really careful to not let my bank account get above a certain amount so I have to hide money in my room and buy pre-paid credit cards.

Well, I sew dice bags for gamers and toss 'em up online. I go to thrift stores and buy little boxes and the like I can repaint. Usually with a sigil from a popular comic book or anime.

Ebay is good for reselling antiques you stumble upon. Don't sell anything too expensive there though. There's tons of assholes who just claim you sent them an empty box and Ebay's attitude is the customer is always rights.

I used to buy a lot of used books to resell on Amazon Marketplace but now that people can just scan those with their smartphone the thrift stores and book sales are really picked over.

Also, it never hurts to start up a GoFundMe or Patreon. People will send you hatemail but you never know who will randomly decide to donate if you have a good enough sob story.
>>
>>26153872

I take out cash and then buy a prepaid credit card.

Also have a key to safety deposit box that's in my brother's name

i'm the highest paid Mcdonalds crew in USA, i make 10$ an hour flipping burgers. i work at one of the 1,500 that got the raise, but it's also on the Las Vegas strip.
i don't think i will ever have another job as busy and fast paced as this. from the moment i clock in, to the moment i clock out, i never stop moving unless to take an official break.
there will maybe be a 5-10 minute period of rest, but for my entire shift i'm non-stop moving.
the only way i could possibly work any harder at this job, is if i literally ran/jogged to each station, otherwise the current production causes sweat and heavy breathing, feet hurt every single night, tonight i left with my abs sore because i was lifting my arms to grab nugget and mozzarella boxes from on top of the UHC oven.
on New Years eve, the guy on drinks has to refill the ice chest at least 10 times a night and i'm not exaggerating whatsoever.

I subsist on disability income in the South. It's no better here. I'm actually a home owner and still barely have enough money to live on. That's with no cable TV service, no phone, no car insurance and no mortgage payments. I do pay $30 a month for basic Internet service, but that's the only luxury I allow myself, and only because it's more convenient than using a library.

I have a lot of health issues resulting in dietary restrictions, so I can't live on the cheapest options like junk food or overly processed frozen shit. I may spend nearly $400 a month just for quality foods.

thats still a lot better than the guy in op's pics 60 cent tuna can

and i don't even need to spend $400 a month on food, i can get by with less than $100 easily.

buy some multivitamins and take them with all your meals, then as long as you're getting enough calories it wont matter what the fuck you eat.
>>
>>26154070
yeah i used to live there, had to move because cost of living.
i don't count the 15$ min wage states because i think in normalized terms.
10$ is still a high average in this country for such an entry level, minimum wage job.
15$ is just retarded. these Mcdonalds managers do not deserve 17$ an hour to sit in the fucking office for 2 hours of their shift.

I'm allergic / intolerant to soy, lactose, citric acid, potassium and gluten. It's hard to explain, but it's a combination of inflammatory bowel disease, something with my stomach lining and bladder disease. Different foods cause different problems, ranging from intense bowel pain to excruciating urinary pain that not even morphine would dull. If I drank something like soy milk and tried to urinate, I would actually pass out from the pain. Had to be hospitalized a few times and undergo a cystoscopy just to void the urine from my bladder, because it would have been painful to do it myself.

So anything I buy has to be explicitly labeled as soy free or gluten free or whatever else. There are some things that have to be manufactured in allergen-free facilities, because even minute cross-contamination causes my bowel problems to flare up. These brands of foods are a lot more expensive.

Howdy!

You seem to have made a bit of a mistake in your post. Luckily, the users of 4chan are always willing to help you clear this problem right up! You appear to have used a tripcode when posting, but your identity has nothing at all to do with the conversation! Whoops! You should always remember to stop using your tripcode when the thread it was used for is gone, unless another one is started! Posting with a tripcode when it isn't necessary is poor form. You should always try to post anonymously, unless your identity is absolutely vital to the post that you're making!

Now, there's no need to thank me - I'm just doing my bait to help you get used to the anonymous imageboard culture!

>>
>>26154293
Welfare doesn't cover internet costs?
>>
>>26154461
>Can't you eat beans, rice and fresh veggies?

Yes, but they have to be processed in allergen-free facilities. A lot of foods are processed on product lines that are shared with allergens like wheat, soy and tree nuts, which causes cross-contamination. Even the smallest amount of contamination causes issues for people with certain allergies or food sensitivities.

Anything that's labeled as allergen-free costs a lot more than generic brands. So I might have to pay an excess of $3 - $5 just for one can of beans, while you would pay less than $1.
>>
>>26154373

They do give you a free cell phone with free calls and text though.
>>
>>26153622
Hello robot.
I'm going to help you out.
This summer around august, start looking for call center jobs. From october - january is the busy season for health insurance because of the AEP. They'll pay to get your license (and pay you for the time you sit in class), and you'll have at least 3 months of full-time employment at ~$14/hr. A lot of places also have bonuses if you do well. And since they sunk so much money into getting you licensed, they'll keep you around even if you suck ass. Come in late every day? They don't care, get back on the phone. If you are good though they'll keep you after the AEP. Way better than fucking fast food work that's for sure.
>>

>>
I'm lucky I guess.
Subsized housing, so I pay 163 for rent
50 for net
~60 for electricity
70 for car insurance
rest of the 750 total plus 100 from a part time job and 35 from letting google spy on me goes to junk food
I really should be saving something
>>
>>26154293

Still get food stamps so the amount of cash I pay for groceries is low. I'm pretty much taking money at this point.
>>
>>26154585
And when I say bonuses, they're pretty solid for entry-level jobs.
The call center I worked at gave $10 for every enrollment you completed, and during the last few weeks of the season even the worst salespeople were bringing in 5 or 6 enrollments a day just from people calling up just to enroll.
Also since it gets so busy you'll probably get all the overtime you want.

I've become desensitized to it to be honest. The only thing that confuses me about food stamps is the weird variance of what's covered.

Like you can legit buy some real shit Doritos and shit but you can't buy soap and toiler paper. No wonder niggers smell so bad, dudes can't buy that shit.

Of course if you go the right stores, they'll take EBT for anything. Pretty much every grocery store will you let buy literally anything in the store, including alcohol with your card. Under the table of course.
>>
Speaking of EBT, in my city it's easy to find niggers outside of grocery stores who will go into the store with you and buy your groceries on their EBT card in exchange for cash.

Tons of them don't understand economics or that your time has value and want you to do it free, but sometimes you luck out and get a desperate druggie who will buy you $200 in groceries for $100 cash.
>>

>>26154931
That's because food stamps doesn't replace cash. You can buy anything with cash no matter where it is, your drug dealer or whatever doesn't have an EBT scanner. That guy knows exactly what hes doing, 50% value is about average what people sell their stamps for.
>>
>>26155231
Crackheads value money more because cash = drugs.

Because being able to stay with your mom and live of your mental illness money is a...

priviledge.

Not everyone is lucky enough to have parents who will encure the emotional pain of sheltering a fucking loser for as long as life remains in them. Most people get thrown the fuck out of family home by a certain age if they keep losering it up and they're forced to learn how to survive on their own.

Which is why that, despite also thinking that wage slavery is pretty horrendous, I seriously pray that you NEETfags talking shit all the time never have some sort of badluck happen to you that forces you to live on your own because you will be in deep deep shit.

So instead of talking shit, be fucking grateful that you are allowed to live the way you live and thank whatever fucking deity you believe in for this great honor because anything could go wrong and if it does you will not fucking survive.
>>
Why the fuck are you living in the city if you're on NEETbuxx?

Not that guy but here in Illinois if you're on SSDI you also get something called Section 8 housing. Dunno if there's similar stuff in other states.

If you still live with your parents you can actually "rent" your room from your parents. I split the money with them.
