>George Washington was 22 when he lead his regiment against the French and Indians to survive the inevitable slaughter at Fort Necessity
>Your 22 and scared to get a haircut
George Washington was raised by parents to be self sufficient. He probably had to fetch drinking water every day or else die of dehydration, and he was considered a fully grown man by the time he was 13.
You, on the other hand, grew up in the suburbs, ate processed chicken gruel and transfat pressed into nuggets, were indoctrinated into believing you were a helpless babe until you were 18, and in school you were taught trigonometry and and being able to recite all the countries in Africa.
>Washington was born into American aristocracy who made their fortune by exploiting slave labor and colonization
it's hard to compare yourself to somebody with the polar opposite background from yourself IMO
There has never been a picture more relevant to a thread than this one.
>scared to get a haircut
get the fuck outta my head charles
I gotta worry about whether the place takes walk-ins, how packed it will be, how much the haircut itself is, worry about tipping (where they will hold on to your cash for an extended amount of time waiting for you to tell them how much back you want), do I show them a fucking picture if they don't get what a hitler youth is or short back and sides? Why do I have to talk to them about shit they don't care about? I gotta shower before I go so my hair doesn't smell, shower after to get rid of all the loose hair, and if I go to the gym that day I end up taking three god damn showers.
>tfw you will have a buzzcut your whole life because you don't understand how to get a haircut
>tfw half a dozen shaved patches in my hair after I tried to cut it myself
Many haircut places have apps now.
You can make the appointment, request a style, and pay all without human interaction.
You just have to show up, and wait for your name to be called.
why are you scared of getting a haircut?
i got mine cut on tuesday, was the shit. the girl was 23 (i'm 25) and she was really nice and smelled good and kept bumping her thighs/happy regions against my shoulders. it was really fun, easily the most physical contact i ever had with a girl.
seriously bro it made me feel human for the first time in a very long time. seriously like a decade
>Go to an actual fucking barber shop.
I would if I could
barber shops are dying out and there's none in my area
have to go to super cuts and awkwardly make small talk with ugly 40 year olds that wear too much makeup
the last 3 times i got my hair cut, the stylist was +- 3 years of my age
shit is cash. they all have bfs and they let you know right off but they still take care of you and treat you amazing
