i'd nominate a volvo tho, old volvos cheaper compared to the more expensive jeep (and therefore must have a successful owner), while old jeeps don't really occur as they don't really survive as long. plus it screams something that your mom brought you, since no person is gonna buy their child an offroading jeep, and would rather buy them a safe wide little wagon to drive them around and have enough space to put the shopping bags in.

Shouldn't have had to cut your dash to fit a new head unit. You get an adapter plate thing to make it fit in there perfect.

Mine currently has a cheap Skyjacker 3" lift that the previous owner had put in. It's just front springs, full leaf packs in the rear, and new shocks all around. I looked it up online, and found it for around $500, but there are cheaper options. Threw a set of 31's on it that I had from an old Jeep. Hoping to go with a 4.5" lift in the spring so I can run 33s on it, but that'll probably cost around $1,200.

Here's what it looked like when I first got it.

It's an early 99 Classic with a little under 189,000 miles on it. It was only running on 5 cylinders when I got it, but it runs mint after I did a little bit of work on the engine. Can't even tell the mileage is that high.

Yeah my girl has closer to 300k on her. I blew up the radiator last summer and ended up replacing most of the engine over time. New computer, new throttle, new radiator, new cooling pump, new pipes, new everything really. Replaced the rear bumper recently too. Have year round snow tires on it praying for snow but MA hardly got shit this year. The one snowstorm last weekend was fun as fuck though. Doughnuts in parking lots are the best.
