employment rejection letters
Damn anon, we seem to collect the same stuff
Roadside-type signs or warning signs, that sort of stuff. It's a pretty Chad-tier thing to collect I guess.
Power tools, if that counts, I mean sure it's my job to use them but it borders on ridiculous how much I desire new tools for their own sake. Not sure if that counts.
Porn, but that's almost a given.
Guess I'm pretty boring, I don't even collect weird stuff.
What are your favorites?
I used a Pentel P207 that was my mother's for like 4 years before I got paranoid that I was gonna lose it and bought a bunch.
Going 0.5 was a huge upgrade for me.
Rotring 800 is incredible with 4B lead
Staedtler 925-05 is up there
Uni Kurutoga is pretty nice on account of its mechanism, wish it had a metal barrel though
Promecha is weird but I like it
Pentel smash is surprisingly good
Yugioh cards, my chemical bromance stuff and re/silent hill video games,
I have 3 Rotring 600G's and 2 nineties 600s. I have 2 Faber-Castell TK-Matics and 1 Staedtler Micromatic. My favorite Pentel is the Excalibur.
Despite owning these vintage (used) pencils, I barely ever use them. I had a plastic Kurutoga; it was meh meme, but I think there's a metal one. Ohto Promecha I've not owned, but they're bottom-heavy and very customizable. Pentel Smash is one I've heard good things about. I'm probably not going to buy anymore pencils.
Nothing, but I do sell what other people collect.
Here are the news from ~200 years ago.
I walk, and I pick up random shit on the ground. Not actual shit, I only pick up metal bits and bobs. I usually toss nails, but washers and bolts are common and on the rare occasion I find necklaces (No jewels) and sparkplugs. When I'm not hiking I collect shit from metal detecting. I'm not good at it but it's fun. It's rare to find cool shit, but one time I found a wedding band. I plan to solder the shit together and make art, but for now I keep it in a drawer. It's a thrilling past time.
HOOOOO BOY that's a $1000+ card right there. holo 1st edition shadowless border charizard is the black lotus of pokemon. just seeing it triggers my autism. but to stay on topic i collect hats, guitar picks, magic: the gathering (pretty casually, i'll admit), and me and some friends started a collection of old and lost IDs we find in places.
You might have a Charizard but insure it's 1st edition and there's no border shade around the edge of the picture.
Also, PSA10 is pack fresh (even pack fresh struggle to get a 10 because corner damage).
Standard Charizard in okay condition is about $15
>the black lotus of pokemon
Card shop near me had a PSA 9.5 '93 black lotus but they had to take it out of the shop because people found out it was worth more than $20k and there was rumours they were going to get robbed
It's definitely first edition but I'm not certain about the border since I haven't looked at it in probably ten+ years. Never played with it, went right into a cover. You're more than likely right about minor wear, though.
my friend's dad started playing magic while the first set was in circulation and ended up collecting the entire alpha set. He sold it years ago for 16k, which was good at the time but nowadays it's just so much more. Weird to think about how valuable some cards are. Pulled an Ugin from a fate reforged pack i impulse bought the other day lmao
>tfw always wanted to get anime figs but never did when I had the money because my parents would have disowned me
>tfw seeing nice figs now with no money or fucks to give
>tfw thinking back on all the figs I've missed and will never be able to get
>tfw the longer I go without a job, the harder to get anything of my waifu will be
I want off this ride.
Rockman/Mega Man and other video game stuff
Fuck. I used to have a charizard when I was a kid, but when I was first grade some sixth grader traded me his whole "deck" for mine, and his deck turned out to be all energy cards. My mom tried to get them back, but I said no because I didn't want the other kid to beat me up.
>used to have this exact card as a kid
>can't find it for the life of me now
Dinosaur figures. I don't have photos but here's my fave one.
I'm so glad I kept mine in decent condition.
I don't collect a whole lot of stuff anymore as I've been selling it all to support the NEET lifestyle but I basically kept everything I got as a kid in perfect condition. I have boxed copies of almost every Pokemon game (missing a few spinoffs) and a decent collection of PS2 games and older lego sets.
>tfw only have a handful of gen 1 cards
>I gave my mewtwo to my sister who likely threw her cards away
Still fucking kills me to this day
The government taught me that sharing files is theft
I am a rare pepe hunter I trabel the world in search of rare pepes.
What are some of your favorite brands of power tools? I work at Home Depot and most people seem to prefer Milwaukee but I've heard Bosch is pretty much god-tier. IDK myself though I just work there.
Private trackers, I guess.
When I get a well paying job, I'd like to turn that digital collection into a physical one.
Currently, the only things I actively collect are firearms. Any one that suites my fancy, really. Currently, I own a nugget, a CZ-452 Special in .17HMR, an M16A4 inspired AR-15, a Polish AKMS (that I built myself), a Mossberg 590A1, and a Glock 19. Pretty boring collection, I'll admit, but I was trying to cover all of my bases, which I think I've done. Next up, I'm thinking about picking up either a K31, a CMP M1 Garand, or a Colt 1991.
I have a knife collection also, but I don't really actively collect for it anymore. I started it when I was 11-12, and I didn't know shit about knives, so as a result, it's full of everything from garbage flea market shit to genuine family heirlooms. I also started a small collection of retro vidya (mostly Sega stuff since I liked Sega a lot back in the day, and they're easy and cheap to collect for unlike Nintendo which all the nu-male hipsters obsess over nowadays) around the time /vr/ was added, and for some reason I just up and stopped. I have no idea why. I still have a Saturn I picked up for 5 bucks years ago that I've never bothered to clean up. One of these days I'd like to get back into that type of stuff and modchip it.
>tfw no idea what happened to all my Pokemon cards
I have two 1 TB external hard drives, one of which is entirely full of thousands and thousands of videos and maybe half as much pictures.
I collect fountain pens. Unfortunately I can't afford the god tier ones
I used to collect pictures of Seattle and give them names beginning with "pure aryan".
Then I would go on /fit/, /tv/, /pol/ and /r9k/ and spam Seattle pics and copypasta pretending like Seattle was some sort of Neo-Nazi haven.
Alcohol interacts with me in funny ways.
I have 203 images saved now.
Old scrnshot because because
Not him, but 72GB is fairly respectable if it's 99% images. My porn folder is mostly images, and even at ~11,500 files, it's only 9GB, and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of that came from just webms.
It's a helluva lot easier to start filling up TBs once you start downloading videos or a shitload of webms.
Tina Fey is the only female comedian that can make me laugh.
Truly based waifu material.
Never mind then.
I download everything in as low quality as possible to save space and time, I have a shitty internet connection. If I tried downloading a 1 gb file it would literally take all day to complete.
