i have a lot of reasons for being dissatisfied with college. i did 3 years and learned basically nothing because the IT program at my school is tailored towards retards. i understand that when it comes to quality of education though YMMV. an internship that I took up with mashable.com was way more important than anything i've ever done in school. so that's 30k down the drain pretty much, although I did learn a lot about myself. if my school wasn't dominated by liberals and feminists maybe i would've stayed

0431 (logistics and embarkation specialist.) i failed all my colorblind tests. i was originally going to be 0651 (data network specialist) because I was majoring in IT but the colorblindness fucked me over. not that big of a deal, i just became ineligible for pretty much every job before my ship date

i'd recommend it. you definitely save money, but everyone knows that. most kids i know who did go to community were pretty dumb in high school or smoked too much pot, and developed superiority complexes cause they pulled A's, despite taking piss easy classes. the thing i liked most about college is the social aspect, and a lot of friend groups get established at a 4-year university during freshman year. it's much harder to make friends if you transfer in as a junior, but if that doesn't worry you then it's not a big deal. absolutely go with it if you're okay with commuting, don't believe anyone who tells you it's "not the same experience" or whatever

yeah the vision requirements can be a bit arbitrary. in fact part of the reason i failed it is cause the machines were a bit faulty-- after failing the first portion of the colorblind test, they moved me to a FALANT machine which the operator said was having difficulty with showing the white LED. it looked yellow and threw me off completely.

honestly, a small reason i left college is because i hated college culture. primarily, my reason was the shit education and waste of money, but i met an amazing girl a month ago. it's naive of me to say this but she's probably the best relationship i've had, throughout 10+ failed and shitty experiences in my life prior to that. i really want to stay with her and it sucks that after 3 years of college i finally meet a person that i want to be with, but i know it's more important to focus on my career. it's gonna be really bitter for me to leave but i'm not worried at all. i get the craziest mental boner when i work out with the kids in the DEP and i'm really excited for it.

Finished my service, honorable discharge. Well I went to Navy boot camp which was puss, I couldn't tell you too much about Marine boot camp other than its about 3 months and you'll probably hate your life.

Tip wise, literally the best thing I can tell you is just do what you're told, don't overthink shit, and try not to do anything stupid to make you stand out to your drill instructors.
