How long is NGE? Is it a good anime for a robot to watch?

It's about 75 hours, but I believe another movie is coming out pretty soon which will add some.

Evangelion is one of the most accurate depictions of being a robot I've seen in fiction. Specifically avoidant personality disorder.

The main character is very obnoxious and unsympathetic, but that's the point.

Only one season/2cour and 1 movie if you can't be arsed to watch Rebuild.

Although I would recommend reading Devilman and watching Space Runaway Ideon instead since everything about NGE was ripped off from this. Even Anno and Sadamoto agree.
