>What ever happened to emo/scene kids?
They are still emo, still watch anime and are still suicidal. But they got fat and old and now they don't look like cute femboys with black hair anymore but like fat basement dwellers.
I honestly prefer hipsters.
at least when you tell them to throw down they just give you the same bullshit rap about "how you're resorting to violence"
scene kids scratch and bite when they get desperate.

"Emos like the MySpace emos or the myspace scene girls were very popular when MySpace was the Facebook in 2006-2009. MySpace had many kinds of people. The shirtless guys who want to show off abs, the people with 2million friends, the regular middle schoolers, etc. Emos had a special persona on that website though. MySpace was basically the high school cafeteria with groups at thier own table, everybody knew the Emos.
When MySpace died, the emos/scene/goth people died along with it. It's very hard to describe if you weren't active in the MySpace golden days, anyway that's my explanation."
sounds like a good explanation to me
they realized after high school that chicks pretty much have a universal preference for masculine looking men, so they evolved into hipsters with beards as everyone else is saying. most of them can't get any pussy though.
>Hybrid Theory was 16 years ago
>Fallen was 13 years ago
>MCR is now old enough to be considered dadrock
>tfw the whole dark, edgy, depressing numetal/angst era is over
>tfw the early 2000s are now as far away from the modern era, as the 80s was from the early 2000s
Even the shittier subcultures of the early 2000s felt way more genuine than the ones we have now.
They are still around. I used to know some scene kids back in middle/high school. The few who I still keep up with are either hipsters or normies or junks. They just grew up. Simple as that.
There are leftovers out there. It's just like people who continue to wear 80's style hair. For the most part it's women who get pregnant at 16 and got really fat from a diet of McDonald's and Little Debbie treats.
>the early 2000s are now as far away from the modern era, as the 80s was from the early 2000s
Is this your thread from yesterday?
>Sometimes I wish the emo fad would come back
>Just for once I want to see guys wearing eyeliners and black nail polish again without being tranny freaks
>I miss 2006
It puts the lotion in the basket or else it gets the hose again.
Trannies and junkies. Its pretty much turned into a cesspool of sexual retardation and an influx of hard drugs. They all want to be ghetto, some kind of left wing activist, or an edgy molly popping heroin addict.
>year of Sodom and Gamora
>tfw you were born 10 years too late to experience the 90's in your teens
A german prof of sociology said in 2009 that hip-hop is the last remaining and strongest subculture, but it's fading fast, as every other youth culture. Everything is getting more detailed, inconsistent and fluent. The omnipresence of media doesn't allow any development of unique subs.
What ever happened to greasers?
