Britfag here. I can tell you that its IMPOSSIBLE to be a comfy NEET in the UK. You have to continuously show proof to some government lapdog that you are looking for work otherwise you get your NEETbux cut off. So I'm completely mind blown by the NEET infestation here on r9k. Where are you guys from actually?
The NEET lifestyle is their pathetic fatass fantasy.
To be a comfy NEET you have to either fake or genuinely have some kind of permanent disability. The government doesn't cut off disabled people if they don't look for work. I'm getting autismbux for faking Narcolepsy.
>If you want disability skip all the bullshit mental disorders and cut off your hand.
Well, YOU don't have to fake anything, since if you think it's better to cut off your hand than to fake a mental disability (easy as fuck), you're literally retarded.
Australia here. Collecting both student allowance and disability. I am technically enrolled at uni, so I get $250 a fortnight plus $1000 every two or three months. Then I pretend to have high functioning autism to claim $300 a week, plus $600 a month for a carer i dont hirer. The autism was just for memes, there's plenty of stuff you can pretend to have. All in all thats $2800 - $3000 a month which is plenty to live off. I dont get why people dont just lie on their forms
Maybe not in USA, but I know several in my country who do.
Comfy Pepe IS REAL, but not for everyone.
See this pic? This is me in bed with a comfy blanket and a cup of tea getting paid to do nothing. "How does it feel to be the scum of society?" Feels good man
>you have to have a mortgage and debt and bills to have a fun life like me being a real man
>you're just lying!
The anal anguish is real
why do you think all the refugees are so eager to get to Germany? They have good welfare benefits, for now at least, I bet they don't last much longer with all the new people swarming Germany and bankrupting the system.
This doesn't work. I lost my hand at age 19 in an industrial accident (I am 29 now), and I cannot receive disability for it because I was too young at the time, and was "still fit to develop work-related skills" that don't require the use of my right hand.
better than being an american NEET t b h
>NEETbux is hard as fuck to get
>need to jump through a million hoops just to be considered
most american NEETs just live with their parents and leech off them
>there are morons here who think you can get an IP from 4chan
>they think you can actually get a persons address from an IP without a warrant
sure is newfag in here
Pretty comfy friend
Here is mine. I would take a picture of the whole room but there is still a sign from when I bought it that I don't want to move and I promised my plumber he could have it andyou could use to dox me
I see. Well I recently swapped out all the bulbs in my parents house to LED in an effort to reduce electric bills.
The way I see it is less bills to pay = happier parents and less chance of being kicked out for freeloading.
I'm thinking about swapping the last remaining single glazed window for double next.
That is where you are wrong. According to our smart meter we are only using 1/10th of the energy to light the house, and electricity is expensive here.
50w halogen vs 4.3w LED plus the LED emits more lumens.
Bitch and moan all you want but the fact is I've saved them a decent amount.
Now you go sweat in front of your horribly inefficient halogens whilst I sit here as cool as a cucumber saving money.
I'm very low maintenance so 30GBP a month is enough to cover my living costs under their roof. Besides I already bring in 430GBP a month from disability allowance.
I see what you did there. Of course they are, they tell me all the time that I'm doing so well.
Here are the requirements tho
I can check you each time you leave to make sure you are not stealing anything
You can't refuse sex
You must stay hidden in my closet during my classes or family visits and yu are not allowed to make a sound
I'm considering physical punishments for not following my commands tho may e that's a little extreme
That sounds good then. I like having redundancy, for example I once took a picture of the password sticker underneath the neighbors wireless router just so I could use it if ours ever went down.
I quit my job yesterday, have a good amount of savings and little financial obligations throughout the year (I live with my parents, in b4 manchild). I could probably live this entire year without working with only spending $2.5-3k of my life savings ($1k car insurance, $1k cable/phone/internet bill I pay for, $.5-1k various expenses like gas and snacks).
I was a NEET for 3 years until recently. Supported by savings and my parents. Now am in college. Have to start looking for a job and thinking of things to make up on my resume. NEETdom sucks and is not a sustainable lifestyle unless you're really rich. From USA btw mostly a NEET due to depression, apathy and laziness. The comfy laziness catches up to you eventually no matter what country.
I'm no sissy or fag just a guy who has fell on hard times. I power lift and keep fit. Would probably kick your ass.
Those are real NEETs in UE you will not gonna get any money in EU becuse you are white and you have to work for those "refugees" benefits
I dont want to go to my wageslave job anymore :(
My life is endless pain, either at work or thinking about how i have to be at work soon
I want to be free, how do i earn money without having a job
Useless because I don't indirectly benefit you in some way?
Besides I have a very fulfilling life, human interaction isn't the be-all and end-all for me like it must be for you. All I care about is my hobbies and interests.
how do i make money online (preferably to paypal) or easily? i really only need like $10 a day at most because i have some money saved
Blah nlah blah. You have no wife/girlfriend, home of your own, career, car, future etc. You are not a man.
What you've got is a rhetorical angle, a stupid mother, and a lot of jive.
because it's all that needs to be said, do you really think your NEETdom will last your entire life.
Eventually you'll get cut off and the money will run out and you'll join the masses in retail at 30+ with a crater in your resume and nobody to come home to.
Hold on tight to your 2d waifu, because suddenly no girl in their 30s/40s wants to be with a loser with no direction in life.
In summary, you started out as a young loser and you'll die as a old loser with nobody to remember him, a figment of somebodys high school memories.
I have a close circle of friends, not that it matters what anyone else thinks.
I'm certainly not going to dwell on the opinions of others, I'd rather be getting on with enjoying my life.
I don't get this. Yes, the mods see the IP, but getting a name out of that isn't easy, maybe it's possible for the police in burgerland, but in many countries not even the native authorities can obtain info from the ISPs, let alone some flabby fuck from abroad.
I mean whats so bad about wagekecks fucking at neet boys?
The wagekeck is no longer lonely or horny and gets to take all his anger on the neet in bed
The neet is supported and gets to be a submissive waifu and get fucked like one
Seems like a win/win
Why do you imply having a 9-5 corporate job and a blonde gold-digging girlfriend is the only right way in life?
I enjoy not having to work my blood, sweat and tears so some Jew or rich YT can benefit off it.
Will I ever have a $50k car or go on huge cruises? Probably not. But what I can say is wake up happy each and every day and enjoy the cheap hobbies I do have. Which is much more than I could say when I literally had that 9-5 slave job.
Honestly, I'll probably look for work at some point this year. Savings can't last forever.
But I'm going to enjoy it while I can. Money aside, I don't know when anyone would want to work over being NEET.
Is there a reason why you all sound so upset? I've worked the past five years. I quit and am taking time off and living off life savings I've saved up.
It's not my fault that you don't have the balls to do that and I did, nor is it my fault that you have a 5 AM wakeup call tomorrow morning and I don't.
UK here. I've been on ESA and DLA/PIP for nearly a decade, never had an interview or a test. Once every two years or so I have to fill out a big form confirming I'm still a retard. That's literally it and I get paid more free money than someone who's working gets.
Are you a fucking idiot? Don't you know that there is a version of JSA for disabled people called ESA that you don't need to ever attend any meetings for? You just hand in your autism diagnosis and they give you money for life. And it's double what you get on JSA.
Ah yes, your two week annual PTO. Well good for you, I also had that.
But I'll take my months of vacation instead and then will find a new job when I'm ready to go back (I'm an accountant with years of work experience so it won't be that difficult).
For now, I'm enjoying the easy life.
This. If a guy is supported by his parents and the parents are happy with it I don't understand why society shits on that guy. Billionaire kids do the same thing yet when they do it it's glamorous.
Self employed nigga. And kek at bragging about being an accountant. Are you even a cpa? Doubt it, because all cpa's take part of the year off, and none of them would consider themselves neet. You're probably a 30k a year bean counter. Enjoy poverty.
England born and raised and i was offered the option to be signed off work indefinitely for Psychosis and depression without pushing for it. I declined but i have had a mental health record since i was 13, not legally allowed to learn to drive or join armed forces etc.
It does happen, you have to be known in the system though.
>Self employed nigga
Good for you. Congrats.
>Are you even a cpa?
Funny you should mention that. I'm planning on sitting and studying for it during this break period for myself. In fact, I started this week, something I never had time to do while slaving away in the corporate world. Pic related.
Why do you sound so upset? U mad that I don't have to work right now because I saved my paychecks instead of wasting it on the newest iPhone shit XD
Obviously savings will not last for ever. But what's your point. Months of freedom is better than none at all.
And I can get a new job like that. Got good references and experiences.
Not sure what your problem is...that I found a way that beat the system without having work every month of the year for 40 straight years?
Look out guys, we've got an internet forum IP tracker here! He's a dangerous breed of imbecile that doesn't know how hacking actually works.
Nigga, you save $ and move to next phase of your life. When I was 25, i worked 50hours a week. I'm 35, and now i work like 15 hours a week. Constantly starting from scratch is moronic.
I never said I was going to be a permanent NEET. Of course that's not sustainable.
But I can afford to do so for a good 6 months to a year, so that's what I'm going to do.
Fortunately, my education background and previous experience pretty much guarantees me a job when I decide to go back into the workforce. Feels good.
>If you don't live exactly how I did, you're a failure! XD
I know this may be surprising to you, but some people don't want to work 50 hours a week when they're 25.
And wow, you're some self-employed likely web designer at the prime age of 35. Wow, talk about something none of us could ever do, huh, "nigga?"
You're SUPPOSED to be building your career and stabilizing your finances when you're in your 20s. Have fun doing shit tier work when your middle aged.
Btw a lot of public accounting firms have cots in the office, because their employees work such long hours. Almost everyone who are working them are in their early 20s, and biting the bullet. Have fun doing that when you're older if you want to be a cpa. Way to think that one through.
I already have years of accounting experience, friend.
Also have a near six-figure net worth saved up.
In fact, I'll be more valuable once I pass this CPA exam, something I wouldn't have been able to do while working.
Keep trying...your tears are delicious.
In the US you HAVE to work for a public accounting firm to become a cpa.
If you weren't lying you'd know that. And I doubt you have six figures in savings. Non CPA accountants make jack dick.
I like when retards talk like they know what they're talking about.
To sit for the CPA exam, you only need 120 credit hours and applicable course work in my state.
To get licensed as a CPA in my state, you need to obviously have passed the exam, but also have the extra 30 credit hours and have experience working under a licensed CPA (not just working in a public accounting firm).
How I see being NEET is as a cost benefit analysis.
>People who are NEET decide that the benefit of a job is not good enough to stop being NEET.
This means that they either dont want to do the job, or don't think the money is enough. They probably dont value the intrinsic benefit of their life having meaning or purpose through work and don't feel the need to make friends or whatever at work.
>or people who are NEET think that being a NEET is too comfy and have no reason or benefit to change
This relies on the opinion that they live what they would call a good life and have no reason to change, their needs are fulfilled. This would also indicate that they would change their mind to work if they had no alternative eg no house, no internet, no NEETbux
>Therefore we have 2 options. Make working more attractive or make being NEET a punishment.
Which do you choose /r9k/?
Most states require 12 months in a public accounting firm, and a 1000 hours in the report function.
Anons got a lot of work ahead of him.
It's almost the exact opposite of being NEET.
Yup. Once you are a CPA though, and build up a practice though, you can get away with working like 4 months a year. But like the other anon was saying; you have to put in work when you're young.
Multi-family houses. I do manage the applicants myself. It's hip Brooklyn so they rent in under 24 hours. I use a service to run background and credit checks. And of course I have insurance. But no one wrecks the place. I'm not doing section 8 or hillbily shit. My 1brs rent from 2500-3k. I'm renting to professionals.
