Originally watched some with a few friends, was just a bonding kind of thing I guess.

Then I started getting into the cutesy anime suchas Oreimo and the likes because it used to cheer me up even the tiniest bit before I had to go out to work.

Now i'm just a full on degenerate. Though currently watching Railgun/Hajime, both are pretty good.

I haven't watched new anime in like five years (I'm 30).

I used to watch constantly, starting at age 12 or 13 renting VHS from a comic shop. When I was able to start DLing fan subs I would watch first ep of every new series each season, then winnow down.

I had no social life then and don't really now either. I don't know what changed - just find it really boring now. Maybe the shows stopped being interesting? I have other solitary hobbies now.

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one on 4chan who has never watched anime.

I watch anime from when I was a kid even if it's shitty. Then I can pretend it's still the 90's for a little while.
