Because it is.
To keep an healthy mind, that is.
That's why everyone here is fucked up.

Robots are fucked up because everyone is fucked up. I was going to say everyone in modern society, but I doubt there's ever been a time where there was a group of people who weren't fucked up.

Have you ever had friends? Real friends? If you have, you'd understand why people believe they are necessary.
I find life is a lot easier with friends.
Having friends comes with a lot of perks, for example
>help get over tough time
>someone to confide in
>potential to meet even more people and make more connections
There have been times in my life where I just felt extremely lonely and bored. Thankfully, I had a few friends who, at the very least, kept me occupied for long enough to keep my mind off my worries.
I wish I had some close "best friend." But I don't, just a few people who are sometimes willing to hang out with me. Don't take anyone for granted, anon.

>help get over tough time
In what way?
>someone to confide in
For what purpose? It seems rather pointless just by itself unless you ellaborate
>potential to meet even more people and make more connections
If the original connections are pointless to begin with, why would having more be an advantage?
So far it seems that people just want to circlejerk eachother.
Nice dubs guy.

Not having friends sucks. Using this logic and observing the fact that others seem to enjoy them, I can only assume that having friends doesn't suck.
because they cant validate themselves
No idea. Would be nice to have some I guess, but I have zero. Still don't lose sleep over it though.
