If you cut sugars out of your diet your body will go into ketosis and break down fats into sugar. This is taken advantage of in some diet programs like atkins. Bodybuilders also use it.

Are you going to cut out all carbs to? Carbohydrates break down into sugar. There's nothing wrong with having sugar in your diet, your body is designed to crave sugar because it's important and rare in nature. That being said people do still eat to much of it.
