Who /vitamin d/ here?
Beating the normies at their own game by getting our recommended dose of sunlight from a cheap pill
That makes it easier to get vitamin d from the sun
i have a bottle of gummy vitamine d and gummy multivitamins that i take every day with my meals
im literally cheating the system, the unhealthy food i eat is completely counter acted by the vitamins
even normies "have to" take it here during november-february to avoid depression
its considered a normie thing actually, they just go "oh your depressed? its your lack of vitamin D go buy some and itll go away"
Your lack of understanding biology hurts my brain.
This is a good idea, I mean think about it, how much do multivitamins cost? $20-$30? That's like half as much as buying healthy food.
Plus a bottle of vitamins lasts like 2 or so weeks right? So they even last longer than healthy foods. It practically pays for itself.
Please, share with us your knowledge critiquing OPs post
vitamins don't do shit though, just have a glass of oj or some shit if you need vitamin d
unfortunately, there is little actual proof that these pills affect your health in any way. vitamin supplements are the modern day snake oils
vit. D is actually pretty important especially if you never leave your cave
i made it to about 23 thinking it was bullshit but then the joint aches/arthritis-like stiffness came on hard and fast. it'll hit especially hard if your skeleton is already fucked from slouching in front of a computer all day. luckily its mostly reversible if you're still in your early-mid 20's
you only need 2-3 minutes of outside time under midday sun in summer and around 30 minutes in winter to get your recommended daily dose if you live somewhere relatively sunny.
supplements are ok, but you need to make sure its D3 and not D2. even then if you're taking 10000IU/day in pill form who knows much you're actually absorbing
tl;dr go outside or your bones will go to shit
>im literally cheating the system, the unhealthy food i eat is completely counter acted by the vitamins
>completely counter acted by the vitamins
Not completely. If this were true you could eat a cup of sugar a day with a gummy pill and you wouldn't know the difference.
>osteoporosis pretty much bred into my dads side of the family
>almost literally everyone of his relatives still alive have it
>a lot of his dead relatives had it too
>taking Vitamin D pills everyday in hopes of not developing it or at least holding it off for a long time
I'm not sure how hereditary diseases work, but I take A LOT after my mom, so I'm hoping that will play into it.
I'm not sure who I'm kidding, I probably wont be alive long enough for it to affect me anyway.
I've been taking them since I live in the night, specially winter I'm asleep when the sun is up for 4 hours a day.
I haven't noticed any difference in anything though. Am I supposed to be healthier now? I take 1 a day.
maybe drop the red meat for white meat and then replace the pasta and bread with lentils to replace the zinc you lose by dropping red meat
lentils are really good robofood since you can just buy them canned, rinse them and eat them cold in a lentil salad with some spinach, garlic, onion, potato. anything really. even if you don't like the taste of lentils, the secret to cooking is basically
>put herbs and spices on things
you can make anything taste fucking delicious with this one simple trick
the problem with shitty nutrition is you feel fine until one day you wake up and you realize you don't and haven't actually for years. you just didn't notice the gradual but steady decline
Vitamins are a meme, guys.
If you literally live on noodles, they might help you not die.
But they don't counteract unhealthy food really. And if you eat a reasonable diet you probably get enough.
just add some tomatoes and a few greens or other random veg now and then. Fry it as a stry fry if you want, you'll barely taste it.
get those mixed veg bags from supermarket and fry 'em. pasta sauce with tomato in is good, cook some mixed veg and throw it in too.
