>tfw i want to give up coffee but I'm kind of addicted

I just feel a little more relaxed than usual, maybe not as much energy. I have a slight headache but nothing too bad. Wish me luck on my attempt to quit caffeine, I highly recommend other coffee-addicted anons give it a try.
Caffeine is literally a drug but I just can't stop. I've went a month without it but all I noticed where negatives; depression increased, attention decreased, motivation decreased, desire decreased. Quiting coffee didn't do anything but hate me myself more.
But I do suggest trying it to see if it does help you.
>tfw take like 600mg of caffeine a day now and barely feel it
I'm addicted too, but I think it's something I'm more comfortable addicted to than not. I mean, when I'm on caffeine I'm usually more alert and my short-term memory feels sharper. I can also recall information more easily. The only bad thing are the short withdrawals I accidentally get into sometimes. When I spend 12 hours or so awake and without consuming any caffeine I start feeling relaxed/tired and get a bit of a headache.

Have fun dying a slow painful death due to cancer and then wondering why God let you suffer this way when you are bringing it upon yourself with your lifestyle.
Simple, just pick up caffeine tabs.
I used to blow an easy $5-10 a day at various coffee shops (when I was employed)

I occasionally still buy a macchiato (not the starbucks kind) when I have the income for it.
I genuinely like the taste of coffee so I'll never truly give it up, but I don't know why I haven't just switched to decaf yet. I don't feel anymore awake no matter how much I drink, if I drink too much I get a stomachache but if I don't drink enough I still get a headache. I tried that Death Wish coffee recently, and the only difference was that I pooped a little bit sooner than usual.
