imo what spirits are best for what:
vodka for mixing with lemonade or for shots
rum for mixing with coke (only thing rum/brown liquors are good for imo)
tequila for citrus like juice

the day before christmas there was smirnoff on sale for 7 credits at this one market, I bought several bottles for my stock.
After new years eve, they still had some and sold it even cheaper for 6 moneys.
Last week I found out that another supermarket now has them on sale for 8 shekels beginning today.
So it's vodka and 7up I guess. Again. As always. But I use a different chalice everyday.

Gin in general, or that particular brand?

I love a good gin, the juniper influence makes it taste like a mouthful of hiking through a damp pine forest. Bombay Sapphire is also more floral/softer than the ordinary Bombay, but slightly more expensive.

It's too pricey to use as a mixer. Use Beefeater if you want a gin cocktail. Sapphire is for sipping.

Overall, highly recommended.

hows it compare to swirnoff? i see people say that's one of better vodkas but it costs 10 dollars more than cheap vodkas here and i hate buying expensive drinks to find they're hardly any better
only differnce I can tell with spirits/vodka is if I drink them reguarly, like multiple times a week and then switch to a different brand. then i can notice/remember the differences.. if i haven't had vodka for a while then any vodka will taste fine usually besides minty mouthwash swill
