>used to hate coffee because it's a normie drink
>tfw started to drink black coffee at the office to look mysterious and edgy
>now I'm addicted to caffeine
>tfw when caffeine makes me slightly euphoric (not in the meme way)
>has a job
fucking normei get the fuck out you little shit
I drink a quart for breakfast every day. The caffeine doesn't really do anything for me. I'm swapping to decaf primarily but will still keep higher end beans around for a better cup once in a while.
Well, I began smoking filterless French cigarettes...
Nah I'm pretty much friendless.
People used to make fun of me at the office so I thought that drinking black coffee without sugar or milk makes me look tough.
Now that I think of it, it was an autistic and bad idea.
I even bought a coffee machine not long ago...
>I thought that drinking black coffee without sugar or milk makes me look tough
>caffeine withdrawal headaches
The worst shit, I feel you OP. I only drink black coffee if the coffee type is good or in high quality, if its the most basic shit then I have to throw in a spoon of sugar just to get rid of the cheap taste. Been drinking black coffee for a long time because of my lazy life style and now i'm paying the price, it doesn't even perk me up anymore, its just medicine to stop withdrawals at this point.
>caffeine withdrawal headaches
Holy shit, that's a thing? I don't drink much coffee but I do get a cup like every day at the office with some milk but no sugar to wake myself up and stay warm but after 2 cups I'm pretty fucking jumpy and wired. Hope I don't end up like that one day.
"-Did you see what Anon is drinking?
-What, without any sugar or milk?
-Wow, he's so mysterious"
You need to be drinking a fair amount of coffee to get addicted that badly, it's mostly something that happens to bored office drones.
A few cups of strong coffee every day is going to give you a tolerance but you'll be ok on days without anything.
>drink lots of coffee
>been drinking since 13
>started at a wedding reception because all there was only coffee and booze
>in high school would bring a camping thermos with like 2 pots of coffee in it to school every day
>was 'coffee guy'
>7 years later
>have a coffee pot next to my cooking station at work
>usually brew 6-8 pots a day
>everyone at work enjoys my coffee too
>feels_good giving back to the normies
I've tried but the migraines are like hangovers that last for the whole of the day, i've dug myself a deep hole here and getting back isn't easy. I've toned down and its nowhere near as bad as it was before but I still get a mild headache.
They are legit, but you need to be drinking a cup every hour or so for weeks, at least enough so when you drink 3 in a small space, you wont feel any different. 2 cups a day is safe, I wouldn't recommend going past 4 a day unless its MAYBE once a week where you need a lot of energy to get through.
Not really. Caffeine does have withdrawal symptoms. They're not as serious as those of, say, nicotine, but if you drink 5 cups of coffee every day and then stop you can expect to have a pretty nasty headache.
>Tfw I only drink coffee at work
>Its shit quality
>The only creamer we have is some fucking brandless powder and literally looks like sand
>Drink it black because im too lazy and cheap to buy my own creamer
Once in awhile if i think of it I grab one of these (Best flavor plebs, with white chocolate in 2nd place), but usually I forget
Its literally powered chemicals that people think are a dairy product that you put in your coffee as a substitute for milk/cream
It literally should only be acceptable for lactose intolerants, because it is literally a chemical powder
coffee has done nothing for me since the seventh grade
it's fucking hilarious watching people getting so angry at an empty pot of empty calories that they let themselves believe that they need
that powdered creamer shit is nasty shit, enough to make me stomach drinking coffee black when it is the only milk option
I found some vanilla coconut milk creamer that was good, didnt even need to add any sugar, but then i found out it has a shitload of sugar in it, so thats probably why it tastes good
>Would stay up 30 some hours at a time
>Drink 1-2 pots of coffee
>Crash for 12-14 hours and do it all again
>Start working at coffee shop
>Somehow only drink 1-2 cups of ice coffee a day
>Don't drink it at home anymore.
I mean I'm kinda glad I cut back because I was pretty much always anxious and couldn't think straight, I have no idea how that works though having unlimited free access to it and drinking less
have you ever drank coffee? people who drink coffee say they are addicted, but it is usually because it is a daily morning habit that gives them a jolt to get started every day. If they skip it they will feel slow that morning, so it becomes a habit.
I quit it recently too, it just made me anxious a lot. However, it did make me think more clearly when I had some work or tasks that required concentration, and I do miss that. This thread is making me question my resolve.
>get up early in a really long time
>before used to get up when the sun went down
>too late for coffee back then
>today is the prefect time for a cup
>go downstairs and rinse out my coffee pot
>get my coffee out of the freezer and realize
>NO MORE COFFEE FILTERS
why does life have to be so trying for me?
>never drink coffee because I'm told it's bitter
>decide to start drinking it in college
>cafeteria has a table set up with pots of coffee
>get a cup, surprisingly I don't find it bitter at all
>drink it every day for months
>One day someone asks how I can drink that
>Ask them what they mean
>Turns out I have been drinking just french vanilla creamer for months
idk about the normies, but I've had pretty much had a minimum of 3 bottles of coke every day, usually going to 6 at average
Had this since I was in elementary school
If I dont have any caffeine I will have headaches worse than any migraine I've ever had and my eyelid will twitch so much i cant see out of it
also im not obese
Who /icedcoffee/ here?
>started out with white coffee
>got introduced to black coffee
>after a while, get introduced to homemade iced coffee which is pretty handy for chugging something down when you're in a hurry
>can make them as bitter as you want rather than the sweet shit in shops and are a perfect drink to aid you in your shitposts.
Jesus, you drink more sugar than I drink mineral water
>also im not obese
...yet. But you will be if you keep that up.
I think perhaps there are other things in Coke that are causing headaches upon withdrawal, perhaps the sugar, or the carbonation, not sure.
>tfw social anxiety so bad I literally can't get addicted to anything because going to the store is always harder than dealing with withdrawal
I used to mix it with the the hot chocolate, I would have about 3 a day. And i would be buzzed. In all honesty it wasn't pleasant. This was back in work experience. I would be a junkie.
It was free, I would always visit and make myself some.
Grandpa bought me a high end espresso machine as a graduation gift.
A double shot in the morning is super comfy.
I also make homemade cold brew with cheese cloth during the summer. Feels good man.
Hand-rolled untreated tobacco with slow burning papers
breakfast of champions right there
>implying a wizard wouldnt want to kill himself slowly by smoking
get off my board normie, etc
if you can't pronounce it you shouldn't eat eat!!1
>implying mommy is alive
>thinking that makes it ok to smoke in her house
that's right, go- I mean, fellow anon! the ingredients we- I mean, they use are completely natural and harmless!
I never understood that "it makes me feel more awake xD" meme
I just drink it because it tastes good, and decaf leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
>Grew up very very obese in an obese family
>Have always been obese
>Mother and Father taught me about different coffee
>told me that 'black coffee' was so called because you would melt dark chocolate in it before drinking
>Told me that Cappuccino was actually pronounced 'cappucreamo' and was supposed to be 3/4 cup cream and 1/4 cup coffee black with dark chocolate of cource
>told me that Frappuccino was pronounced Frappucreamo and was the same as above but with french pain au chocolat for dipping
>Told me that Latte was pronounced Lard-e, you can figure out the rest
>went to college believing this
>first morning at college
>managed to interact with success with normie roommates the night before
>someone offers to make coffee
>I tell them I want it black
>normie hands me a coffee
>I notice he didn't melt any dark chocolate in
>get pretty upset
>tell him it is customary for the person making the coffee to add the extras but I will do it this time
>take the cup of the other person who had their coffee dark
>take my dark chocolate from the fridge
>drop chunks into the coffee
>everyone stares at me
>'what the fuck are you doing anon?'
>don't know how to respond
>'s-sorry I didn't realise you wanted less chunks'
>they all stare at me
>'who the fuck drops chunks of chocolate into coffee?'
>realise my whole world view is wrong
>run into my room
>last time I ever spoke to those people
I spent the next 3 hours in Starbucks reading the menu trying to figure things out
why do robots make up these stupid stories? its reminds me of the tumblr cunts who make up fantasy victimization stories 'that just happened to them' to get sympathy from their audience.
>tfw everything is much more enjoyable w/ caffeine
>tfw experience significantly more frission from listening to music when under the influence of caffeine
>tfw feel super content and comfy after a glass of tea or some coffee
Caffeine really works for my brain chemistry for whatever reason. The crash makes me pretty depressed, though.
I only drink coffee at work if I didn't sleep well the previous night, and I do drink it black as well. Sugar makes me sick. I drink imported sencha green tea normally. Shit is actually green, not yellow-brown like bagged tea.
>mfw been addicted to caffeine for 3 years
>it doesn't even have an effect on me anymore, my tolerance is too high
>You dont drink it for the fucking taste. Just put milk to make it more tolerable.
Wow, you are such a dirty prole. You drink good coffee for the great taste and complexity of flavours, go drink some Cola or something babby.
>addicted to caffeine
>all those americlaps thinking their "coffee" is decent
>they put a lot of sugar and cream on it
>instead of going 60% black coffee with 40% milk master race
Yeah, perhaps i'll try another type if there is one available at some point. But every time i've tried coffee it didn't taste good. So not exactly winning me over on doing it again.
>fucking normanscum telling me to leave the board
holy fuck is it opposite day? am I being trolled?
>Cafeine is a meme im so edgy xD
Fuck sake man. Not everything is a meme. Caffeine has legit stimulating effects. It's not even a debate. What's next? Talking becomes a meme? Walking becomes a meme? I have an idea. Try to stop breathing since it's such a meme too. Maybe that will cure your edgyness.
>trying to ween myself off of coffee
>mfw how difficult this shit is
It's gotten to the point where I get headaches if I don't consume it.
Down to 1 small cup every couple days though.
