Started using internet around 97-98 (7-8 years old) but it was mostly just educational stuff and some games at that age

We got our first broadband connection in 2003 and I regularly started browsing 4chan in 2006, when I was 16. The first 4chan meme I remember is Zinedine Zidane. I wonder how much differently life would have turned out if I spent every hour I wasted on 4chan over the last decade doing something to better myself. Oh well, fuck it.

Found 4chan.org in 2004 when I was already on MySpace and reading webcomics and learning about memes from ytmnd and wow off topic forums

when I was 6 in 1996 I saw some TV show that had a ferret on it, and I'd never seen one before and I wanted to know if it was a real animal or some sort of puppet or something, and I remembered we just got the internet, so I literally typed in ferret.com into the url bar because I dont think there were search engines yet and I got taken to some old ladies site on how to look after your ferret and I was like oh, it is real, the internet is really useful, and kept using it like that

I got really into spending all day on the internet in 2003 when I found IGN's boards to shitpost about video games all day on and I found 4chan in spring of 2005 when people started talking about about it as a source of all the latest hot internet fads, I remember people going apeshit about april fursday, and I've been stuck on this shithole for over a decade

Started around 1999 christmas created a yahoo and hotmail email account in an internet cafe.Didn't use internet until high school in 2002 .

Big brother got a shitty broadband connection we used to download tons of music, movies on kaazaa, limewire, morpheus, mirc etc and also to chat on yahoo messenger, msn.

Found 4chan in 2007 when few idiots in habbo hotel said about something called /b/ raiding us , stopped browsing this site around 2011 then became a chad . Back again here since 2015

It was like being an John Smith and Pocahontas in the New World until it is fully annexed by the colonial normies. Like browsing and discovering weird things, with no PC filter, etc and now everything is jewgle, goybook, jewtube, and jewkipedia. You tried random urls and found bizarre sites and stuff. It had a 'mysterious' vibe, like today deepweb.

I've literally always have used a computer, my first memories are playing Descent with my Dad.

It was probably 2002 when I started browsing the Internet. I remember playing the original Insanquarium and Neopets. I started browsing 4Chan when I was 14, at around 2008.

Let's see. Started in 2004 when we got a computer. Dicked around internet forums, like this anime one, and this Neopets one, and this one for a free version of Invision Power Boards (there was a mod there who was either Maddox or really really really liked him), then found Gaia Online.
I found 4chan around 2007 or so. I remember there was no /r9k/, and 9000 get was Vegeta. Back then "redditfags" were "gaiafags", which became "diggfags", furry threads were only done on Fridays, Caturday and Lithursday were things, and there was this guy who would post bottles of his semen the day after Christmas.

I enjoy browsing 4chan a lot, and feel grateful for finding this place.

Only change i experienced because of 4chan was starting to study and finding a desire to know more about global politics, so i'd say it's a pretty good thing
