Like... I want to share truths. I want there to be pushback for most people, because I believe some bit of suffering will in turn make you better/ happier. I want people to know that despite everything being meaningless, the important shit is often not the big milestones everyone is set out to achieve. (Money, Marriage, Kids, House, "Success")

If I try to unhitch myself from all worldly pleasures/ all things that align with that society-constructed "success" model, it takes more work and I end up fighting myself for no reason. I also end up with an ego far bigger than normies.

I don't think the modern day example of what "success" is means anything. I will die, it won't matter. What I actually think that matters is changing the views of people. I want to make videos, share my thoughts/ rants, lead by example. Some level of "success" is necessary to prove that I'm not just some negative "fuck life" faggot. Like I'm not dismissing quality of something simply because I don't have it.

As a matter of fact, the Genocide route, Sans' character, and Burgerpants all reminds me of shit 4channers would be into/ portrayed as. Sans is an ironic shitposter who does it because it's the only way to numb some kind of deep negative insight. Burgerpants is a wagekuck beta who despite being pathetic has both an immense fear or the world and an ego/ knowing-it-all attitude that surpasses it.

Even some of the beloved characters like Toriel were MEANT to be hated. She's a deliberate parody of tuTORIELs- she's so overly protective that she's condescending and makes the gameplay trivial. She LITERALLY holds your hand through one of the sections, and fears giving you 2 seconds of independence.
But Toby chooses to also reveal the positives about that sort of nature. Some kind of intention behind it, despite the parody originally meant to mock how Japanese developers for instance makes their games too condescending/ hand-hold heavy.

You can achieve "nothingness" real easily by the way. It doesn't take seclusion and cutting yourself off from loving anything. It also doesn't matter if the opportunity to manipulate you becomes present.

People are strong because despite having what they love taken away from them (therefore getting hurt), they're able to stand back up after. Their willingness to not lose it, and then not to lose the opportunity to stand up for something else- there enlies their strength.

Being able to bear that pain and training the loving+losing aspect, I think, makes you stronger than someone who doesn't have that dynamic present. If you train yourself to not love anything, you're a blank canvas that can be populated with ideas. If you're able to cut yourself off from observing/ being influenced, you hold no more power.
There is always a way to revert from that state of mind.

I don't know. I'm of the mindset that disassociating gives you a path to better truth, and that leads back into humanity/ yourself.

Just try and meditate- you'll see what I mean. People who meditate are literally unstoppable forces of nature if they do it enough/ have enough self awareness. (Which you seem capable of)
