Anyone interested in a comfy thread?
I can dump a lot from the last thread I saw, and some originals of my own.
Bonus points for cityscapes, I've fond of them.
And what kinds of images do you anon find most comfy?
I have a few from my trip to Japan
Stop me if my posts are shit
I mean I'm not by any mean a good photographer
I love comfy OC, and I'd love to see some more of this, anon
dont have to be a photographer, as long as you capture comfy atmosphere such as this. looks good man, how long did you go for? what was your best experience. I wish I could travel, but being terminally ill sucks ass.
this reminds me of the scene from resident evil. good stuff anon.
>implying isolation and bleakness don't have an uncanny type of comfy feel.
>not having to deal with people who put you in a foul mood
>having time to think without interference
>not having to cater to other peoples wants and needs.
I would go to a room with a view like this with supplies and take mushrooms, it would be an amazing experience.
Yeah I realise a lot of my pics are awful quality now, especially night pics
A whole month, like 10 days travelling around then 3 weeks in Kyoto
It was very nice, everyone is friendly with you for a change (even if it's fake)
And sorry to hear that
nobodys getting this comfy shit right
it's about feeling safe, and being able to look out but nobody can look in, and natural light is enough
it means different things to different robots, anon
I am not diverting the thread with my illness and a time stamp does no good in this case either, I've been told my time is limited, and my health has deteriorated immensely over the last 6 months...spending time and talking with anons is all thats keeping me going.
>Yeah I realise a lot of my pics are awful quality now, especially night pics
Anon this common, especially with camera phones and what not; there's always noise in the photo, the only thing I would suggest is you could get a little tripod grip thing for your camera phone or compact camera which makes the camera more steady for night shots, it wont necessarily result in less noise/grain in the photo, but they might come out better.
>You clearly do not understand the definition of comfy
pls...whats your definition of comfy?
fuck that gif is uber comfy
in my opinion the ideal comfy level would be in a comfy room in the dark with a gf, a laptop, a good friend or a book. Looking outside as the rain falls, not a care in the world
Ask and I shall answer
It was differently expensive (I'm french btw) but overall cheaper, for example
>food is like 75% of the price
>transport is WAY more expensive (like 600 yen for a ride of the Tokyo metro)
The whole trip cost me around 1600euros altogether, I could have saved ~300euros on the plane ticket but I could have paid far more on housing (I didn't pay for housing once in Kyoto)
I got the money from my dad's inheritance (I'm still a student who hasn't worked a day in his life)
I went to Tokyo / Nikko / Fujiyoshida / (skipped Nara) / Himeji / Hiroshima / Miyajima / Kyoto / left from osaka but didn't see anything
Yeah I'll try to get a halfway decent camera next time I travel
is it true that basically every Japanese woman ogles at you and shit and are super flirty because you're white.
My friends always said this was true (he went there) but I always thought he made that shit up. Apparently they like basketball americans too.
With a friend, though I was doing most of the talking (the japanese are royally bad at english)
I must be an ugly white then because the only people I met were other travellers
Or maybe I'm too much of an autist and I never noticed, I saw maybe 3 blacks through the whole trip so I can't either confirm or infirm (but I would be inclined to say that's wrong)
Could this be considered comfy by some? My phone lens was all fogged up though
Himeji castle is one of the only original castles remaining in Japan (maybe even the only one?)
You could live a tranquil and content existence on this island
I went for a walk in the evening because my friend wanted to stay in his room for some reason
The (public) gardens are really nice when not full of tourists
this one is not quite as good but similar
Not really a fan of all this concrete however
I'm speeding through my pic to find the comfy ones but I couldn't pass this
That's Hiroshima's bomb dome
What a fucking shit thread.
Comfy =/= athmospheric
I'm just chilling in my parents house while on vacation, it's pretty comfy.
I skipped class one early morning to watch the sunrise on this unused dead end road
Glad you like them, I'm trying my hardest to filter the best ones
I posted some of these in a night walk thread. Night walks are truly comfy...
>pasty basement dweller implying what is comfy and what's not
And this is the famous torii gate
txtless posts are not allowed.
I just had a shit, I used way to much toiletpaper.
It was part of a help program where you do some menial task for someone (in our case painting walls and buying furnitures) and in exchange he offers you room and sometimes food as well
It was definitely on the cheaper side of things but we were eating out all the time for say the first 20 days while we cooked at home maybe 10 days or so, but I'm not kidding when I say food is extremely cheap over there, a decent meal at a nice restaurant costs 10 ~ 15e, while fast food (ramen, okonomiyaki, etc) is 4 ~ 7 euros to eat well (one portion is rarely enough)
We didn't do too many expensive activities, and I didn't buy many (any actually) presents though I did spend quite a bit on alcohol, aside from that monument visits are are rarely higher than 5euros but you have to pay all the time
Oh shit I thought that courtyard in the bottom left looked familiar.
Be sure to do ii in advance though as I got a fuckton of "sorry m8 we're full"
There's WWOOF too (which is centered around farming) and actually I have a whole .pdf about that kind of things that I could put on MEGA if you want
Forgot my picture, sorry original comment filter I won't do it again
This is the Kyoto manga museum, it wasn't that interesting
it's basically a big manga library
I don't think it's that particular one anon, christmas markets are very common throughout Europe, as are square town squares
The lines are the whole point anon, it's supposed to be a zen garden
Some loli geishas during the Gion Matsuri festival
The anime on your pic has timber framed houses (I had to look up the english name) which are medial-era houses while the real ones look to be dated from around the 18th or 19th century
Give me a second
You should like this one anon
Here, notice the wood
Of course the anime might be a mashup of that square with timber framed houses and i'm just being annoying
here you go m8
/hr/ usually have a thread going on the subject
this is a comfy post with text in it
This one as well original comment original comment
>you will never live in a warm wooden house at the mountain surrounded by nothing but snow, trees and animals and cuddle with your gf at the fireplace and doing activities in the nature like picking mushrooms or going fishing rainbow trouts at the lake down the river.
why even consider existing
Cyberpunk makes me feel full comfy
Anyone else share that feel?
I'm pretty sure cyberpunk is the definition of comfy
if i add text maybe the robot will leave me alone
Fushimi-Inari shrine has around 2000 torii gates in total I believe
>text status: comfy
Well, well, looks like comfy is another thing that normalfaggots don't understand. Boy, it must be awful to be this dumb, this thread looks like a generic landscape/cityscape wallpaper thread. Be careful, one of these days you might just forget to breathe, you piece of trash bitch normals.
This is a cemetary but it had a comfy peaceful atmosphere to it
blah blah something something
What are you, a normie? Close the fucking curtains for fucks sake, I don't want any sunlight inside my home, not to mention all fucking normies in the building on the other side who probably will be staring at you when you fap or watch anime (actually same thing but I wanted to sound sophisticated by having two hobbies instead of just one).
domo arigato mr roboto
not even original
>tfw light pollution stops us from having those beautiful night skies
the captchas are completely autistic
text goes here
And that's the last one, walking toward the train station in the sunset, hope some of you at least enjoyed the dump
>not letting in the optimal amount of sunlight
Oh I forgot this one of me watching JAV in my capsule
Go to the countryside anon. Nothing is comfier than lying down on a warm summer's night and seeing the milky way above you. The realisation of the absolute futility of life imbues your body with a comfiness beyond any comfiness you've ever experienced.
^ NOT ORIGINAL
probably not original
i'm taking them all
Christmas markets in Germany are top tier comfy.
It's one of the comfiest things ever
Only thing it needs is a small window (that no one can see you through from the outside)
