It is obvious that Elliot Rodger would find sympathy on /r9k/, but what exactly was it about him that gave him a cult following here?
The following is in parts ironic, I strongly believe.
Also, there are not many who actually pulled through with doing harm and also making their intentions and thinking clear.
I'm not sure why, something about him draws me to him
I guess I can relate very strongly to him
Also he specifically mentioned why he was going to do what he did, no bullshit
In his final days he just stopped giving a fuck
I respect that, because right now I couldn't do it, maybe in time
Well his frustrations appeal to a lot of robots and incels. The incel epidemic is ignored by everyone and then just flippantly cast aside when it arises. You see this in ER's own life how he never really got any legitimate advice.
I mean I'd be able to sympathize with him if he had stopped short of killing people.
Well as I can be anon. So, in your honest opinion, could Elliot have been saved?
I think his manifesto highlighted how much of an absolute sperg he was, which I think really resonated with some people here.
Obviously he was a terrible person, but some people here have this idea that socially awkward = one of us. Like they saw how he completely spilled his spaghetti in various social settings and were somewhat endeared to him.
A couple of reasons.
A: SJWs jumped on him and put him on blast because FEMINISM.
B: We hate feminists
C: /r9k/ has become wizardchan-lite/neo/jp/
E: It's hilarious.
F: Asian Masculinity guy had just fallen off the radar when THIS came out, which only reignited the keks.
because pic related women want men who have the vocabulary of a thug.
>It is obvious that Elliot Rodger would find sympathy on /r9k/...
lol So you've never actually posted here before? NO ONE gets sympathy here. There's ALWAYS a fucking normie that screws it up.
This, women are only attracted to brutes.
Hi Peter. Nice dubs!
Also, you're doing gods work with Elliot. When he died, I hated how no one tried to sympathize with him as the sad young man he was. Instead, he was vilified. The media almost acted relieved with his death. To add more insult, they even interviewed a god damn chad and stacy piece of shit and featured then on their 'show'.
They(chad and stacy) acted so fucking "shocked" and "angry" at the event they could never possibly relate to. Fuck all of them.
Make your biopic of your son and you will be fucking rich. More people than you believe will watch it.
It's not even normies most of the time, I don't think. no matter how fucked up their lives are, any given robot probably has some aspect of their life under control, and they're eager to talk shit about it
eg. one dude lifts a lot and so will tell everyone that all of their problems are their own fault for not doing the same, another dude is studying biochemistry and will tell anyone who listens that they should have got into a good university program, etc.
and they're right half the time, but most of the time it's really fucking obvious "advice" that's only posted to stroke their own egos
Daily reminder this is THE quintessential Rodger fanwork, it is required viewing for all trve robots and all others should be forgotten
he had an honorable death killing normies. Shame he didn't kill those bitches in the sorority. The world would truly be a better place if all the frat fags and sorority sluts drop dead.
No, because his life tells a story that some can relate to. No one thinks that it is okay what he did, but that is not the point. The point is that even the nicest kid can be destroyed through years upon years of bullying and parental negligence. It just shows that in our society that love is something hard to give and get, yet hate is so easily spread and attained. For this person it was easier to buy a firearm and hurt innocent people than to get a hug and someone to talk to. That tells there is something very wrong in our society. Were there someone to recognize his mental illness ( and not just give him psychosis inducing SSRI ), someone to stop the bullying and someone to help him get on the right track none of this would have happened. Suicide is one of the top death causes in developed countries for a reason, a mental health crisis greatly intensified by the individualistic society that preys on the emotionally weak until they break. Now more than ever people start breaking at a very high rate as entire communities are created consisting of estranged male teenagers and young adults who are ridiculed and rejected by society, forced into social isolation by alienation.
Yesterday's thread got deleted: http://boards.4chan.org/r9k/thread/25626624#lr-1
(usually it stays archived on 4chan for a week rather than 404).
So someone must have e-mailed Peter and he DMCA'd that shit.
Anyone who's read this needs to read The Art of The Deal as a counterpiece and palate cleanser. It's interesting to read the two simultaneously.
