>>25593083 You pretty much nailed it. Eventually even activities that you kinda dreaded doing with her become bearable as time passes, and then when she cucks you and you're all alone again, you sort of miss it
walk in the park (made instantly better because you don't look like a creep spying on couples or children, but a normal person with a gf)
go to a restaurant (instantly better because you're not that sad loser who comes to pick his take away and then slink out, but a respectable man with a girlfriend who eats like a big boy)
travelling to other countries (once again you aren't an autist sleeping alone in a random hotel wandering the streets of a foreing land, but someone with a companion with whom to share your experiences with)
>>25593083 This is so typical of the robot mindset. I want a girlfriend! But I can't really name things we'd do together and I just assume we would do all sorts of things and just inherently enjoy each other due to biological chemistry.
Unless you can identify those shared interests and what a partner brings to them, you will never make it unless you're among the few biologically superior men that can just b themselves and make that work.
Just because you aren't one of the 10% of men that are above average in a woman's mind doesn't mean you can't get a good girlfriend, some of the least attractive manlets I know have good girlfriends and even wives. It means that you actually need to have plans and distinct interests in activities. You need to actively sweep a girl off her feet rather than being a fuccboi.
but i didn't say i wanted a girlfriend, i explicitly said that "girlfriend is a meme at this point."
> I just assume we would do all sorts of things and just inherently enjoy each other due to biological chemistry.
yes this is correct, i do think that.
>Unless you can identify those shared interests and what a partner brings to them, you will never make it unless you're among the few biologically superior men that can just b themselves and make that work.
i am not. and i get it, don't be boring if i want a gf.
but you know what im pretty comfortable being boring and chilling at home and doing this on my own pace.
Smoke weed with and cuddle in bed while laughing and doing stupid shit.
Watch movies with her and talk about them and analyze them.
Read her a book till she falls asleep, probably one of the cutest things there is. Just looking at her while she has her head on your chest and telling you with a sleepy voice: "go on, I want to know what happens next?"
that sounds corny as shit. the whole reason robots even exist is this entitled mentality women have towards men who aren't the top picks.
it feels like im under constant pressure to keep working for her, fuck that i quit.
and as retaliation im gonna get called a boring loser. but im just about fed up at this point and im too old to care anymore. they're just gonna be old and wondering where all the good men went or some stupid shit like that.
>>25593464 >corny as shit you'll find out the corny shit makes the most fun.
>work for her depends on the woman but as long as she feels that you consider yourself a worthy human being and act that way, it'll balance out. A every good relationship has nice balance between how much work each party puts into it
>>25593548 Where did I say this? There will always be genderroles that determine some things. A chick wants a man that knows what he wants and does and can tell her what's best. The no.1 thing that keeps a relationship healthy is if she knows that you could get someone else if you wanted and she too but it's the bond between you that holds you together.
You don't have to work for her, you simply have to don't fuck up your life too often and give her a feeling of safety. Just the same stuff you want from her
>>25593464 Yeah exactly I've been thinking about this a lot lately. Girls just get in the way of doing shit I want to do and that whole girl pretending to love you thing gets old really fast when you realize you actually rather be playing starcraft and shooting the shit with your buddies than reading a book to your gf in bed lol.
>she could come with me on vacations to France or Italy or Guam travelling can be kind of boring when you're alone, and with a girlfriend this non-sexual activity becomes an occasion for hot, drunken hotel sex every night.
>sleeping in bed with her spooning is the most comfortable way to sleep
>being in public with her the social benefits of having a girlfriend are intrinsic. No one looks autistic when they're holding their girlfriend's hand in public.
>>25593681 That I probably am. It's not like i tell them they're bad or anything, i'm generally happy whenever anyone wants to play anything with me. But i wish i found someone who could play some tougher music. That's all i'm saying
>>25593051 Just keep telling yourself that OP. Human interaction is a basic human need. We're social animals. We want to be liked/loved. You do too and you know it, no matter how enlightened you think you are.
>b-but I get that from a best friend The experience is similar yes, but there's differences between somebody who considers you a friend and somebody who loves you. Is your mother nothing more to you than a friend? I would hazard to guess that you care about her a little more than that. That's because the relationship between a mother and son and the relationship between friends is different.
So here's the answer you want from me: Anything you do with your girlfriend is more enjoyable than doing that thing alone or with a friend. Why? Because there's an understood love and caring between a girlfriend and a boyfriend
But then again, you aren't a normal human, are you?
Walking through the city. I love walking, and I normally do 6 miles a day, but more than a few times people have come up to me and asked why they always saw me around town but never anywhere else. I'd rather have a gf to have a real reason to be out.
Eating out literally anywhere. I am that guy in his 20s that eats at Applebees alone, and I hate the feeling of people staring at me until I turn my head. She would be my reason to not feel like I'm on an island surrounded by an ocean of people.
Watching a show/movie. I love the artistic value behind it, but it's disappointing to not have anyone to talk about it. I would also get more than one perspective to greater understand any meanings I might have missed.
Discussing any political/social issues. It would be nice to be able to have any intelligent discussion t b h, but more specifically those issues because it affects me and my way of life, whereas philosophical discussion turns to mental masturbation really quick and helps no one.
There's more, but I don't care to continue rambling
>Activity: Creative hobbies Reasonable expectation: Exchange criticism and encouragement with each other (when asked). Be a receptive audience for one another. Reality: She belittles, makes jokes about, and pulls me away from my art, while not creating any herself. Or she brags incessantly about hers.
>Activity: Walking in a place Reasonable expectation: Taking in the surroundings, the temperature, the wind, the greenery. Maybe a little conversation. Reality: Her talking at me. Wit. Wit everywhere. Oh god, you're SO funny. Thank you SO much. Fuck.
>Activity: Sharing our emotions Reasonable expectation: Honesty. Maybe not full disclosure. But something real. A little bit of uncomfortable-ness is to be expected. Reality: Lies. Answering questions with questions. Vagueness. Getting mad at me because I want to ask her things about herself. All caps texts.
I feel now like MGTOW isn't a conscious decision like ISIS. Joining it just happens.
>watch bad movies We would both rip in the movies and laugh >go out to eat at resteruants Better than eating at a resteruant alone or with your greedy Jewish friends that under tip >get drunk Better than getting drunk alone and wishing I had a gf
>>25593051 I haven't experienced an intimate relationship, so i don't know. I'd be lying if i told you i know what i want from being intimate with another person, i just know it's probably worthwhile. Females are made to be the counterparts of males. Important men i hold in high regard have talked about females and being with them in the same tone as other things i thought were fascinating. It seems like an important thing. Anyway i don't know. Just like i wouldn't know what i desire out of being truly smart or important, humans are rickety like that.
>>25594346 i'd guess neither. only a small percentage of the population are actual sociopaths by DSM standards. and the pros of getting a gf ARE worth it. women just think time and money are equal to their vagina and companionship. and it isn't. it's not even close.
>>25593051 1) We'd game together, I'd only date a girl who'd play various games with me and enjoy them. 2) We'd go try new and exciting restaurants together. Eating with a girl is infinitely better than eating alone if both of you are culinarily adventurous 3) We'd cosplay together because i wan a total week as a gf. We could do couple cosplay and what no and it would be adorable and the best thing ever and fuck I'm making myself cry again
>>25594641 Going to need a citation on getting a gf being worth it desu. Most of these reasons just come down to it being less awkward doing stuff in public (movies, parks, restaurants). It's fairly subjective, but I doubt even the average person makes enough use of them for it to be worth.
the thing is non-sexual activities become sexual when you have a girlfriend.
>going to the mall to buy socks without a gf: >you drive to the mall, alone, you buy socks, you go home with a gf: >you drive to the mall, buy socks, fuck in the changing room, you go home
>going to the movies without a gf: >you buy a bucket of crab legs, sit down, watch the movie, and get skittles thrown at you from the shitkids in the back of the theater with a gf: >you buy a bucket of crab legs, sit down with your girlfriend, hold hands, make out, and get a handjob
This is a case of definitions, isn't it? Like. a girlfriend would be someone where you do have that connection, so by definition, you would enjoy her company generally. Otherwise we could be talking about just a fuck-buddy, or FWB, or what have you. I suppose it's rather a spectrum, but it's just like having a friend who has sex with you.
>LASER TAG Imagine it, anon. Imagine how beautiful that would be. Of course we're both 18 or around that but we could absolutely wreck those elementary-middle schoolers. Add value? It's called teamwork and collaboration in the line of fire, you amateur.
>Hiking and camping Obviously, the more the merrier. Another navigator is always great, and tent snuggles.
Idk that anime image of the two girls playing computer games in the laps of eachother looks comfy as fuck. Also cooking would be nice. Playing with the dog. Having her fuck the dog could be an option, but since it's non sexual. Umm also cuddling is great for cold nights
>>25593950 >Walking through the city. You can do this with anyone else. >Eating out literally anywhere. Or talk about it in real life with other people? >It would be nice to be able to have any intelligent discussion Or you can, I don't know - go online and discuss it with other people? Or talk about it in real life with other people? You're a fucking cretin who is I am sure is a self-loathing pile of shit who attributes all of his problems to "not having a gf", and how a lot of things would be fixed if you had one.
