I would drop that class so hard and find a professor who believes teaching is more important than being adored by students.

This is also why using ratemyprofessor is a terrible way to choose professors.

Cringe was all through college for me. I mean the entire fucking time.

I had an English professor a couple years ago that was just like that, except she was just an innocent middle aged lady and really liked lolcats. I found it cute, in a way. Maybe it helped that she actually was a good professor and knew her shit despite being cringey.

Shit like op picture just needs to stop, completely. I hate professors that surround their classroom with a bunch of sassy/bitter sayings and meme posters, just makes them look like jackasses

Rate my professor is almost useless for reviews based on first year courses but it can still be useful. You can actually gain quite a bit of helpful information on the professor like:
-Whether or not they're an easy marker
-The difficulty of their tests
-Their course organization skills
-Their communication ability
If your professor can't speak English well then the reviews will point this out and this is pretty helpful information since a lecturer who can't speak your language well can ruin the course for you.

Something I realised when I was doing my Masters was no first year lecturers want to do it, they are all researchers above the content who are forced into Lecturing to retain their position.

Same with 2nd and 3rd year desu, pray for a down to earth guy who likes similar exams, if you do a masters or PHD you realise lecturers are alright.
