>>25564096 No, not really. I came here first in 06 or 07 and stayed on /b/ because I was an edgy teen. Then I grew tired of it in 08 and stopped. Since then I have been sporadically on /co/, /mu/ and /tv/ over the years. This is like my 5th visit to this board. From what I understand it's a bit weird and cringy to browse /b/ and /r9k/ if you're over 20 years old. So what are you doing here OP?
>>25564096 nuh i started when i was 15 and now I'm 20. I literally love 4chan, just don't take it so seriously and don't get mad when smarter people beat you in arguments. Although browsing /r9k/ takes some willpower, don't let the other crabs drag you back into the bucket
Most people here are underage ultra-newfags who haven't been here for more than a few years.
In fact 99% of 4chan are newfags these days. They aren't even fucking ashamed of their cancer either. They shit-post with pride and it's pretty embarrassing to watch angsty 16 year olds cry about the woes, make up stories, or pretend to be girls and make these "femanon" threads or whatever the fuck.
What an awful time to be alive. Can we go back to mid 2000's 4chan please?
>>25566351 Agree. I'm at the oldfag point were the nostalgia doesn't even feel good. Shit simply hurts like the slow-growing cancer of regret. I though 10 years was tin, but it's definitely fail cancer.
>>25566351 You can not go back and recreate a culture. The original spirit that permeated the boards lasted at most 18 months past launch with the "golden year" being 2004. By 2005 friend of friends were the primary new user base and the experimental posting that neo-/r9k/ ironically tries to copy had taken over the board culture. It's just been a meta ride the whole way down.
>here since 12 years old >massive faggot >starting camwhoring the night /soc/ was created at 16 years old >ruined my fucking life >various failed relationships from 4chan >humor completely revolves around 4chan shit >hate everyone here and hated in return because I'm a whore
>go on 4chin when i get up >go on it on phone on way to work >browse it at break time >broswe on way home >browse at home >browse in-between sets when lifting >browse in bed instead of reading >tfw i feel more at home on pol, r9k and fit than i do anywhere irl
On imageboards anyway. who else /stuckhere/? >came here in 2006 >seemed legit but threads moved too quickly >went to 7chan, more low key but still good activity >start visiting 420chan and other 4chan boards besides /b/ in 2008 >dabble in 99chan a bit in the early 2010s(weird to say that) all those boards were different beasts back then, now everything is a fucking ghost town due to spreading the content too thin so I'm stuck here, thankfully there's enough niche boards around here to keep it interesting
What do you guise think of reddit basically becoming the walmart/borg collective of forums/boards? I find it deeply disturbing and also their UI is shit. But really, it's been bothering me lately. It's hard to even find populated alternatives besides 4chan.
