Halo 4 is not really good, but it's not bad either - it sucks, but as a Halo game. As a generic shooter, it's not bad.
Halo 5 has really good gameplay, fun and immersive, but we were sold short in the story - the marketing campaign just lied through and through.
There's Halo Wars 2 for the xbone and pc this or next year, not many details yet. It's being done by Creative Assembly, from Total War, so not too bad.

Maybe. Not sure I'd have the balls. But 98% of you would not, don't kid yourself. (Also I realize OP fugged up and should have said Spartan IV) you'd have to go through incredibly intense training before you'd have the chance to go through the transformation or anything. Plus, if you actually faced up to the terrifying prospect of combat with the Covenant you'd reconsider.

Orion was voluntary but too expensive. They were also exposed to plasma grenade radiation.
Spartan 2 was kidnapped 250 potential candidates, 125 chosen, 75 left after training, 40 in operation after augmentation out of 50 left alive. 25 alive by reach. 5 alive after reach. No.
Spartan 3 is worse mass produced cheaply and sent on suicide missions with a berserk trigger while they're close to death.
Spartan 4 is just augmented ODST.

I'd be a Spartan 4 but they suck.
