Certainly his lot is harder, and when he does succeed people aren't going to applaud him because his problem is something other than "is a racial minority", but he could still be successful.

Granted not as successful as he could be if he didn't have the shitty attributes he has, but maybe he wouldn't try as hard if he was better looking, and what not.
