If I were to found a monastic order of cyber monks dedicated to the pursuit knowledge and innovation and the joining requirement being:
1.) be a male
2.) be a virgin
3.) be heterosexual
would you join?
Probably, though I would use it as something to keep me sane u til I fou d something to stick my dick in. I would probably stick with it even after losing the v card which is probably never gonna happen, but just saying. Idea sou ds really cool.
>3.) be heterosexual
Practical asexuality (i.e. masturbation allowed but no sex with others) is preferable and for that it's irrelevant whether you jack it to men, women or tile patterns.
And how exactly would you verify the last two?
I'd just put 'non sexual' or something.
I mean you can have it in the 'rules' that you have to be asexual, since it's not like you actually spy on them to enforce it (it bans talking about sex, but people will still fap)
The point of a monastery is a group of people who willingly adhere to a set of strict rules that govern their daily lives. There should be no other requirements than this.
I would even accept a female inside if she swore off lewdness and attention whoring.
In principle I would want to accept females (since they can be good individuals) but they throw off the dynamic of a group when added (basically, some males will always try to fuck her) so they have to be excluded (arbitrarily) to make things work.
To be honest familia I would really join a non-religious monastery that focuses on technology and widening knowledge.
We would have a cool automated garden, build robots and hack stuff.
>like necromancers but with tech
It'd be nice, I would build a nice monastery garden and grow some food for you all.
But in reality, even if you went through with this idea, I could never join you. Too indecisive to make such a commitment. I'll always wonder if I made the right choice, and the doubt would slowly eat at me over the years.
