So after about 8 years of slowly becoming a shut-in I've decided to make an appointment with a psychologist tomorrow.
Now I have second thoughts.
Do I go or not?
I've tried the same last year, but turned around right in front off the office and walked away.
>>
Yes. I would definitely recommend it. Even just getting your thoughts out of your head and at a neutral third party can help.

Yeah I understand that, but it's been years since I've talked to anyone above a superficial level.
>>
Are you paying? If so, i wouldn't. If not then you might as well considering you're a shut-in, not like you have anything else to do.

You should go. You will always get second thoughts, it hurts to talk about things. Don't be afraid to cry. It's better not to ruminate and let things out and get a fresh perspective on things.

Shut-in is a strong word maybe, I have a job.
But that's all I do. Go to work, go home. In the last 5 years I've been at a social event thrice. Once in a theater and twice in cinema.
Honestly the only reason I even work is to fuel my escapism - books and video games aren't free.
Yeah I'd be paying, but something like 25$. It's partially covered by insurance. Yuropoor here.

>>

Do it - it doesn't matter if something goes wrong, you can just go back to being a NEET
>>
Did you research your psychologist to make sure they aren't a normie?
