No videos. No manual. Just practice. But I will give some tips:

1. have a large library of donor pics (4-chan hardcore is a good resource, but don';t be limited to that)
2. Match resolution of donor and original. Sometimes I have to use a "resample" of a good quality donor to make it smaller and then try to match the original. You can also add noise or blur to a good donor to make it match a bad quality original
3. Head angle is key. Make sure the angles match...
4. While you can manipulate tone and color, try your best to match the donor with the original.
5. Hair is important. You can cover lots of merging problems by using the clone tool to paint in hair to make the new pic be more aligned and color match the transition between donor pic and the original face.

The above are listed in order of the decision making process I use in matching donor with original.
