However, it seems strange that they're given special treatment to make a thread for themselves on a completely different board when an on topic general already exists. If anime images are allowed on every board, why not just post them in the /sp/ superbowl general?
Somehow I take it that /a/ wouldn't react very well if I made an official /pol/ Gochiusa thread on /a/, or that /pol/ wouldn't react very well if I made an official [s4s] GOP debate thread on /pol/, etc.
