It's funny how opinions are seen as shitposting to some people. You know, if the person you disagree with actually has things to back his side of the argument up, it's not shitposting. You just don't like him. Especially if he's saying something against what that seems completely normal to you.

Usually in this case the thread was offtopic to begin with and the jammy just overlooked ot because it was civil. They can't really punish people for shitting up threads that don't belong in the first place

I remember this happening to a general, back when they weren't outright banned, on /a/ but it really the mod stirring shit up every other thread. Then he finally came out after weeks of this, admitted to it, and moved the threads to /jp/. I wish he had saved everyone's time and just did that from the start.
