Why are people so averse to buying passes in lieu of solving monkey puzzles?

It's almost like you hate capitalism.

What's wrong with hating capitalism?
>>
I don't believe the product is worth the money being asked so I don't buy it
If anything that makes me more of a capitalist than you?

I don't mind the captchas.
I don't post that much anyway. By the way, I didn't even have to do captchas for my 2 or 3 recent posts.

If I only posted 1 or 2 posts daily then I would probably never have to do captchas (only the first time).

You're lying. Why do you hate capitalism?

i bought a pass when moot left.

Literally advertising. I'd rather see this place have all the servers permanently taken offline than spend a single to post here, you fucking dirty Jew.

Are your posts tied to a some sort of account, I mean, you log in with some sort of username and then your posts are tied to you obviously? That might be a problem if the site gets hacked.

Hypothetically speaking, if I buy a pass and write a spambot and start flooding when mods are asleep, would it work? Hypothetically speaking, of course.
>>
>>429530
I was honestly going to because the picture captcha's are THAT fucking stupid. Then I discovered you can revert back to the old system.

>>429530
The captcha takes no effort to solve. Most people who buy it are probably really, really lazy.

>>429603
Are you autistic?

>>429632
"Hypothetically speaking", if you were to do that and set it to spam /b/ or one of the less moderated boards, like /qa/, /o/, /i/, etc. it could be hours or even days before you get banned. I was spamming this board three or four days ago and it took several hours before I was banned, and that's only because I made a thread about it on [s4s].
>>
>>429624
You can be permabanned and still use the same account to log in with a different IP address. All you're buying is the ability to bypass captcha.
>>
>>429644
>The captcha takes no effort to solve

You're full of shit.
>>
>>429649
How so?
>>
>>429645
So, they don't ban the pass account? Good to know...
>>
>>429651
If it takes no effort to solve then why bother?

Also, congratulations on spamming /qa/ then bragging about it. It's not like mods lurk here or anything.
>>
>>429651
It'll say you're wrong when you're not. It'll give you impossible variations regularly.

Reminder that we're talking about the picture captcha.
>>
>>429654
Your account can be permanently suspended if you use it to spam/flood. I think you might not be allowed to buy another after either.

>>429656
>first thing
Yeah, there's no reason to buy a pass.

>second thing
That wasn't bragging.

>>429657
True.
>>
>>429660
So, you're just a ban evader?

Good to know.
>>
>>429661
I didn't evade the ban, kek.
>>
But I do hate capitalism, anon.

>>

>>
>>429632
There were people that did that on /mlp/ when passes were first introduced, it took a few days to get the attention of someone that could suspend them, but the spammers weren't around for too long.
Also if you were to actually try to flood a board, you'd run into the post timer since passes are tied to an IP and there's a cooldown between switching your pass IP address. So hypothesize accordingly.

Also, am I the only person here that gets the pretty green checkmark right away, no picture puzzles?
>>
>>429683
>Also, am I the only person here that gets the pretty green checkmark right away, no picture puzzles?
I sometimes get that for 1-3 posts a time. No clue why though.
>>
>>429683
I get that. I think once you do enough the captcha lays off you for a while. You've done enough forced labor for the machines.
>>
>>429683
Well, I could spam /b/, since it has a 10 second cooldown.
Also, /mlp/ at night is the least moderated board. I've seen porn threads that lasted 5 hours. If I make one thread per minute, in 5 hours I will make 300 threads. This can fill an entire board two times.
>>
>can still get banned with a pass
lmao fuck that
>>
>>429556
>Putting your credit card number into 4chans system

Newfags can't be this stupid
>>
Because 4chan pass acts as an unique identifier and I'm not comfortable with that.
>>
>>429530
It's harder to evade bans with a pass. In times when mods have been set free by an owner who cannot control his employees, this is essential.
>>
>>429530
I really really don't want my bank manager to know I'm buying 4chan passes.
>>
>>429645
>>429660
This is false. If you get banned for a post that was made with a pass, the pass is banned as well. If you try to post with the same pass on a different IP you'll get "Error: ban evasion", though you can just log off and post normally.
>>
>>429877
Isn't this what happened on 2chan? The site was hacked and people could be identified through their accounts?

Email and credit card, all tied to one account. That sounds like a bad idea.
>>
>>430286
4chan uses a third party for that. They could be hacked though.
>>
>>429530

Fucking jackass pumped $$$ into his failed freemium app and let the GG scandal get out of control. Also I get banned sometimes when I get passionate about anime on worksafe boards. oh, and CIA.

>>
>>430290

Yeah, fuck that. I mean, 4ch is already known as worse than FB because what people post on here, they actually mean.
>>
>>430333

>le bitcoin is anon meme

top kek, I know for a fact it isn't.
>>
The moderation on this site is fucking abysmal. I would never pay for a 4chan pass in a million years when I can't even trust the mods to ban consistently.

If you want to turn 4chan into a paysite go post on SomethingAwful
>>
>>430333
Could probably be traced back to you somehow.
>>
>>430337
>>430357
Why the fuck would anyone go through the trouble of tracing a bitcoin transaction to some random 4chan user's IP? What could they possibly gain from it?

4chan has shitty mods and the majority of the site's userbase is made up of retarded normalfags and retarded children who never stop posting. I'm not going to spend $20 on this place just so I don't have to take the half of a second to type a few numbers.

Why the fuck would anyone go through the trouble of mass data collection just to monitor a handful of terrorists?

Oh
>>
>>430369
Why hack a payment site (which is definitely more secure than 4chan) then? Why not just hack 4chan and get the IPs of everyone who posted recently?
>>
>>429530
Why not just pay to have the captchas solved? $5 overhead and literally less than 1 cent per solve. If the solve doesn't work you don't have to pay.
