8gag has the reddit-aspect with user created boards... Last time I looked at 7chan they had a system with weird names given to all posters, like IDs.

The problem I have with this is that they aren't showing what post was used for "le reddit boogeyman" in the bans and provide no proof you ever used the insult.

There is literally nothing wrong with reddit when you don't bother doing stuff such as expressing contradictory political opinion (I'm not even thinking about the far right-wing) or trying to express rational information on a collective lynching thread towards a particular institution. Maybe opinions are not very diverse on imageboard neither, but this kind of aspects illustrate how much of a giant hive-mind machine this it.
