The real problem with /vp/ is a lack of moderation, not one general that constantly gets hijacked by shitposters, including a couple who are in this thread as we speak.

Currently moderation in /vp/ consists of a couple of purges of porn/scat/guro a day. Most other stuff, even blatant rule-violating posts, stay up with rare exception. Shitposters are free to spam or raid threads with as much crap as they'd like, from GET posting to offtopic pic dumping to flaming/trolling. All this stuff was deleted a year ago, but not anymore.

Shitposters are free to make duplicate anime threads with troll language in the OP, and lately those aren't being deleted even though they used to be deleted within an hour.

When janitors rarely show up and they only delete the porn, then the board is being set up for failure. Duplicate anime breads that the OP is pointing out are not a new problem. The problem is that the janitors aren't dealing with the duplicates, along with all the other shitposting on the board, in a timely manner anymore.

It really gets to the point where they samefag their posts, spam the same images, then decide to shift to their phone to avoid a ban. Once janitors come around to clean up they already either reset their IP or shifted to something else.

There are times when people report the shitposting but that ends up leading to either warnings and bans from what I've witnessed.
