You know there are a lot of posts complaining about janitors/mods.

This is a blue board which means that it's for everybody (Safe For Work content only). If you see any adult content, please report it.

You know there are a lot of posts complaining about janitors/mods. Lets keep it simple. Post your unjust bans ITT.

The lack of transparency when it comes to bans is disgusting. 4chan does have a "ban page" that they make it seems like everything is by the books but we all know its just there to make it seem like the mods and jans are fair and doing their job.

Every ban the mods give is completely justified.
>>
>tfw I got banned for GR3 for a fucking /qa/ post
Rulefags are the worst.
>>
>>413388
>getting banned on /qa/
That is one Hell of an achievement as perhaps even /trash/ has more things being deleted. Congratulations!
>>
>>413409
You can get banned on /qa/ for really saying something the mods don't like. Talking about things from the leaked IRC logs will get you banned on all boards, even /qa/.

>>413384
So banning someone for complaining about Nintendo is justified, telling a shitposter to go back to Reddit when they clearly are from Reddit is justified, and banning someone for no reason at all is justified?

I suggest trying to post on /tv/ for a while. Most likely you'll get banned because you said something triggering or something the mods don't like.
>>
>>413436
>when they clearly are from Reddit
hi reddit
>>
Global Rule 6 needs to be deleted IMO. It's vague as fuck and seemingly serves no purpose other than to excuse blatant mod bias and powertripping. 99.9% of all posts everywhere could be seen as "low quality" from a certain point of view, so there's seemingly no rhyme or reason as to which posts are deemed violations of Rule 6 and which aren't.
>>
What board has the most scummy jan/mods that absolutely need be looked at?
>>
>>413501
/tv/, /int/, /v/
>>
>post gondola in a gondola thread on /v/ (which I didn't start)
>get warning for posting offtopic
>alright
>stop posting and leave the thread
>about 3 hours later I get a 3 day ban
what the fuck man
why do my warnings always turn into bans some time later?

not unfair, just kekworthy

Being from reddit isn't against the rules. In fact, the mods/admins encourage it.

>clear cache because my phone usually does this

>was able to post during those three days
>confusion intensifies

sounds like some shitty phoneposter got banned on the IP that your phone handed to you because your network distributes IPs out as needed.

Why is global rule 3 a thing?

LITERALLY the only time it's ever enforced is for shitty 'a-anon triggered me!' bans.
>>
>>414368
Same thing happened to me and it said I was banned for posting cp. Really freaked me out for a minute until I realized phone carriers cycle ip addresses
>>
>>414457
The extreme irony of that enforcement
>You will not post any of the following outside of /b/: ... anthropomorphic ("furry") or grotesque ("guro") images ... or loli/shota pornography.

So the rule thematically agrees with you. It's the moderator that doesn't.
>>
>>413501
/a/, /co/, /v/, /mu/
>>
>>413501
I don't think /tv/ has any mods
>>
>>414468
Trolls.

The mod considers this trolling.
>>
>>414521
Which comes back to my point.

Mod sees something that upsets him, he's going to go 'THATS TROLLING!' and bannu.

Half of this imageboard can't distinguish between bait and differing opinions as it is, if anyone should be able to it would be the mods.
>>
>>414522
FYI, global rule 8 says you'll get banned for criticizing 4chan's policies or moderations, so you're actually breaking the rules right now.

On the other hand, that doesn't really correlate with whether or not you get banned so carry on.
