Serious question, has anyone here successfully forced a meme? I'm working on it on another board and it made me wonder. I figure people who have done it would be likely to hang out here, if they're around.
Yeah, but it was on the easiest site to force memes on.

Reddit?
It wasn't exactly a meme, it was an "epic thread screencap". I just made a thread, everyone believed it and I did the screencap myself. Everyone saved it and posts it.
It still gets posted about daily on various sites such as 9fag, funnyjunk etc.

This one?

That's actually a pretty good idea. People like those types of screencaps but they're usually too lazy to make them themselves. It also explains why those screencaps pop up from time to time for a completely pedestrian thread.

Meant to post this

The low number of responses suggests that is likely an edit. There are actually 4chan thread generators out there which you can use to make screencaps like that.
I forced a few in [s4s] but let's be honest those don't count
Yes, but not alone. I was one of the very first people that forced
>Sweden
>Yes
It started on another imageboard. The "Sweden is the gayest country in the world"-thing had beem running for a while already, when someone started a thread that went
>Your country
>Did you ever eat your own semen?
The instant first answer was
>Sweden
>Yes
BEST
MEME
ALERT
I can tell you right now it's very easy to force a meme on /vp/, especially the anime general here:
>>>/vp/24996638
Although that's likely because most of them are underage.
I pushed 2 spooky skeleton gifs on /v/ everyday for a year straight and now its a meme
Back when /v/ had daily 4 am threads I remember seeing other people posting the 4amheman.jpg screencap that I usually post at the beginning of every thread for whatever reason.
