The new board that is the most needed is a /meta/ or /ecel/ board for discussion of internet happenings and personalities.
There is currently no place on the site to discuss this, yet it seems to be something almost all of us actively keep track of or take part in.

It's not. You're a tremendous faggot.

I'm speaking in very broad terms here. The caption of the board wouldn't need to be any more specific than "Internet Culture," which would include discussions of board culture here, observations of site culture on other sites, and discussion of personalities from various places on the internet.
These kinds of threads already get made on other boards with different subjects enough to justify getting their own board.
>happenings
>>>/b/
>internet celebrities
>>>/trash/

/b/ is too busy getting sucked into its own wormhole of shit to handle anything remotely serious

Just make them on the threads on the board they most apply to. Twitter threads from video game devs and celebs are often up on /v/ and have been common place since Phil Fish's first Twitter meltdown in 2011. Mods are very inconsistent and haven't clarified their policy on them, but more often then not the threads stay up until the bump limit is hit or at least for several hundred replies. Same with /tv/ and /sp/.

/qa/ is the /meta/ board and /trash/ is the /ecel/ board.
I hope that clears things up for you.

this.
Video Game related threads go on /v/, movie/TV star threads go on /tv/, tech industry threads go on /g/
Shit nigger this ain't hard.
