What exactly is the problem with Reddit? I often see it used as a negative adjective around here. But I never understood the context.
What exactly is the meaning behind calling something or someone Reddit?
Reddit is a noun not an adjective
Somebody or something being called "reddit" implies that the person/thing is reminiscent of behavior/content typically found on reddit, which usually means that the content/behavior is unfunny, forced beyond belief, naive, obnoxious, and doesn't conform to the culture of 4chan.
But nowadays the content/behavior on 4chan is also unfunny, forced beyond belief, naive, obnoxious, and misinformed, and the culture of 4chan (or at least, the culture of what 4chan used to be) has been completely shat on beyond recognition.
So I guess, as of now, calling something "reddit" means jack shit and you should just ignore it.
