>this weapon single handedly restored balance between rich/technological/first world/governments/superpowers and poor/third world/underequipped/not strong enough to be considered official nations/guerillas
how can one weapon be so based ?
And then this motherfucker undid it. Good luck winning a war when there's literally zero chance of you killing even one enemy soldier.
>they bought into the AK meme
AK wishes it was as reliable as the shittiest revolver.
Come back when you've made all men equal.
I don't get guns
>shoot a bullet out at 3000 feet per second
>all you feel is a little jolt
shouldn't you feel the equivalent force on you if you shoot it, since everything has an equal and opposite reaction? From the moment the pusher taps the jacket, you should feel an intense and fast force on you.
How do people withstand literally taking a bullet every time they shoot one of these things?
>10 rnd cap
how do you guys even fight tyranny
AK best raifus
>his country banned AKs because some autist shot up some mall with a mini-14
>t. frog that's never held a gun before
The AK is the nigger/muslim of weapons. It's simple, inefficient and inferior, but it can come in massive numbers at very low cost.
God help me if I ever have to defend myself with an AK.
Our Natives have injuns reservations that are close to the US border / go on both side of the borders. They smuggle in AK type rifles, uncapped mags for almost anything, alcohol and tobacco.
>>his country banned AKs because some autist shot up some mall with a mini-14
He shot out a school. He splitted the class between women and men, and shot all the women. Also, he was half Arab, since his father was a mudslim for North Africa.
A lot of the opposite reaction force is used for other things, like moving mechanical levers, sound, heat, and compressing springs.
Still, you want the weapon to be really snug up against you, so that your body absorbs the recoil over a large area, and against your entire body weight.
>drops off after 300 yds
This makes literally no sense
If you shoot a bullet straight, in the middle of nowhere, it will keep going until it hits something. They don't just stop, otherwise they would be useless in combat. I suppose the 'drop off' after 300 yards you are talking about is due to the curvature of the earth's crust, and the bullet finally skimming it?
>If you shoot a bullet straight, in the middle of nowhere, it will keep going until it hits something
>what is gravity
If you drop a bullet and fire one in a straight line on flat terrain they will both hit the ground at the same time.
The bullet is going fast enough horizontally to hit something before in hits the ground.
Also I gotta add: If you found a place where you knew it was gonna be completely flat across the whole earth, and then shot a bullet PERFECTLY STRAIGHT, how long would it take for it to circle the earth and come behind you and hit you? would it lose a lot of velocity? I feel like this is a danger
You are our Father;
we are just clay without You.
You have the power and authority to mould us according to Your will.
You have created some of us in the best of physical and mental health, whereas some are born deaf & dumb and blind.
We are unable to comprehend this variation in Your creation.
We acknowledge that we certainly have no rights to question any of Your actions.
Yet Father! Believing in Your mercy and compassion, I come to Your Throne of Grace, for my loved one who is disabled.
We do not know the reason for the disability.
Lord, it might have been due to our iniquities and transgressions. If that be the reason, please forgive us for Your name's sake.
Kindly make a record of our tears, which we have shed since the birth of the child, in Your book and send Your answer to this prayer.
Nothing is impossible with You Lord, because You had healed everyone who came to You when You lived on this earth.
Let Your healing touch descend upon this child of Yours right now. Help us to rejoice in double portion, in proportion to the days of our tears.
We believe You will answer our prayers.
In Jesus' name I pray.
I consider it the ideal 7.62 platform. Not really big on the 5.56 AK's. At that point just get a much lighter AR. But why even use a 5.56 (5.45X39) unless you have to hump ten miles a day for a month straight.
I will take the extra weight that comes with the much increased firepower from a 7.62
Anything over 100 yards and I am shooting .308 out of a scoped bolt action anyway.
I like the .40 pistol round because it is so god damn perfect. Speed and penetration of the 9mm, mass and stopping power of the .45
>and they don't fall due to gravity?
They use a MASSIVE amount of thrust to escape earths gravity
>Why? It's because they're going really fast: like a bullet
A bullet has one small explosion occurring behind it and the gasses building up in a confined space eject it out of the barrel at a fast speed and then it falls at the same rate as a dropped bullet due to gravity.
A rocket has constant thrust being expelled.
>making the glorious FAMAS
>thinking a piece of slavshit weaponry is better than western europe bestern europe technology.
look: if you shot a gun in space, that bullet would keep going FOREVER. Why? because space is ENDLESS. The only reason it stops on Earth is because it hits something.
I have a Yugo AK but sometimes I think about trading it out for an American one, since they have about the same price point. I feel like the Yugo one is well built and I really like it, but holy fuck the cheek slap hurts. You Serbs need to learn what a decent stock is shaped like. The problem is only compounded by the fact that Yugo AKs take special snowflake parts so I can't just swap out the stock unless I want to buy a shitty plastic tacticool stock. Which I don't.
I find .40 to have snappier recoil than my .45.
>The only reason it stops on Earth is because it hits something.
It stops because it hits the ground due to gravity, if it was fired in the air it would lose velocity due to resistance from the atmosphere and then gravity would pull it back towards the ground.
Yes you can, there are issues that will occur after repeated fire but it can happen.
You can, gunpowder is self-oxidizing.
The gun will quickly melt though, as the vast majority of firearms are air cooled. There is no way for the gun to dissipate the heat except radiation, which occurs too slowly to be practical.
I've got ARs and AKs.
AR is better at distance but by then .22 bullet is subsonic and just a heavy for caliber .22.
The AK sinks like a rock past 300 yards but is more than double the weight of an AR bullet and plows through things the AR will not.
Both have their uses.
Mate they're both better than the AK
>not knowing the history behind the vz58
My friendo basically the Soviets told the Czechs 2 into AK's and they said no lol and made a better gun.
>this AR did not jam with mud on it's side so ARs are now infallible
>>outdated wood design
Can be easily replaced with polimer handguard, pistol grip and buttstok. So what's your point?
>>only iron sites, no rails
Are you retarded?
>>no place for anything useful like a flashlight
Are you retarded?
Buy a suppressor then!
>>clip only holds 30 rounds
Are you retarded?
FAMAS is a notorious for being a massive pile of shit,so much so that frogs been trying to replace it with FN SCAR for the last 10 years, but couldn't because they are too poor!
Fuck the US for rigging the weapons testing competition back in 2003 - 2005. What's that? Our shitty M4 platform is being smashed by all other entered fire arms? Shit better pull up some law made a long ass time ago to keep our shit rifles. Fuck adopting superior weapons. Also let's shift those fund to an underslung grenage launcher that under performs.
quality shitposting m8
while I respect your choice of firearm I prefer its capitalist counterpart but only because i am a Rhodieboo and also because the British army used them in Falklands and had an interesting time using them and ones borrowed from the Argentinians
Just in case this is not shit posting here we go.
First off the brilliance of the ak is the energy is used for other shit like moving gas around the gun moving the next bullet into position and things like that.
Second f=m*v. Big mass gun little mass bullet means its spread out in the gun and consecrated as fuck in the bullet.
Even then you want the thing snug against you because over time it can wear on you and tire you.
I had one of those in the army, still hate them.
They are super heavy (not normal rifu tier heavy) and they shoot like beasts, I still could feel the recoil on my chest in the nights after im used them
You see anon, the momentum is conserved, which is speed TIMES mass. The bullet is very fast but weigths very little so the far heavier rifle doesn't experience such great a force.
