OH HOLY DICK
WALMART CLOSING OVER 200 STORES
Look at the great depression
Look at the markets NOW
a great sign of a market collapse is multi billion dollar companies closing mass amounts of buildings and laying off thousands
Get ready chou ling
They're focusing on their massive stores and smaller grocery stores and building their internet business. This was inevitable but I'm sure sensationalists will attach it to whatever they want.
No doubt poor performance is the reason for so much regular store closings but, the express stores were a mistake to being with.
DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT THIS WILL DO TO THE SOUTH
>tfw all our local small businesses went out of business when Walmart moved in
FUCKING cucked AGAIN
Target is the superior supermarket and Publix shits all over both in terms of actual groceries.
smdh tbqh familia at the fact people still go to Nigmart.
>Even as Walmart plans to close hundreds of locations, it also intends to open more than 300 stores in the next year, including 50 to 60 supercenters in the United States and 85 to 95 Neighborhood Markets.
So basically they're doing exactly what everyone else is, which is concentrating on selling food and putting everything else in the internet.
Who the fuck buys from Walmart.com when Amazon exists?
It's a gradual process, OP.
What made the "Great Depression" great, was a lack of recovery, rather than a market correction.
Again, I have no idea where the next bull market is going to come from.
>Trade demand is dead.
>Wage demand is dead.
>Government demand is dead
>Technical inventions are dead.
>And financial innovation is a no-go.
I don't know why the investors will invest. Every bad thing is checked off, except for inflation.
Well no one, but no one is buying from their stores either. The only thing profitable for supermarkets etc. anymore is selling food and some other daily goods. Electronics, clothes etc. are simply not profitable for them.
