This is a statement of fact at a point in time. It does not project into the future. Any exponential rise in population ( given a fixed space per human, say 1/2 cubic meter ) leads to a growth in the required volume of a sphere of space to contain them whose radius soon must grow at a superluminal velocity.

Besides, there is no reason to actively kill people for it. It's not the amount of people, it's the aggregate resource consumption against production. Look closer. The problem is not the entire population. It's Africa and Asia.

As Africa receives more humanitarian aid, the more they will reproduce. Some countries in Africa have an average of over 7 children per mother.

The middle east is reproducing very rapidly too thanks to Ahmed and his 8 wives.

The economic immigration from these continents will eventually overwhelm and end the western world.

The asians will always be asians, but at least they're generally nationalistic and keep to themselves, so I don't see the problem there.

Many people already know of this issue. But nobody does a thing about it, and when someone tries, they get labeled for being racist, promoting genocide and eugenics etc..

I guess the problem is, that there is no money in it, aside from literally "saving the world", you get nothing by solving the issue of overpopulation. Companies don't gain anything from having fewer employees and customers. Countries don't get advantage in having fewer men in their armies. The social sistem doesn't benefit from having four old people on one young person and so on and so on. It has been like that since the dawn of civilisation, it is completely driven by overpopulation.

It is much better for the eco friendly lefties to put taxes on stuff and provide subsidies to their friends who get into renewable energy. That's just trying to cure the symptoms, not the disease.

The other problem is, how do you get all of the world to cooperate on this? If one country decides to lower it's population by, say 50%, the others will start to get itchy just thinking about all the resources going to waste in a country that will soon be unable to defend itself.
World government perhaps? Nope. The bigger it is, the worse it works (see USSR, EU,... ). Given the current situation, I can see only some deadly virus wiping most of us out, or a war, a big one.

But let's just say nothing catastrophic happens in the next 50 or 100 years, what can we do about overpopulation? One child policies? Genicide? Eugenics? Something else?
I think we should only regulate the world's total agricultural production. Stop increasing it and then start decreasing it. The total population will then start to decrease and a damn lot of other issues will diminish as well. Simple and effective.
