41 YEARS INSIDE
Ian Ball, the man who tried and failed to kidnap Princess Anne in 1974 for '£3 million ransom which he was going to fully donate to the NHS for mental health care, as he wasn't able to obtain mental health help himself after years of trying' is still in Broadmoor, over 41 years later.
SIGN THE PETITION URGING THE GOVERNMENT TO INVESTIGATE HIS INCARCERATION
I agree that the man should have been incarcerated but everything about the situation points to no murderous intent, rather mental health issues.
How can he still be imprisoned after over 41 years?
wont pardoning him justify the crimes of a mentally ill man though?
yes its sad, but he committed a crime, why give people the impression people who are mentally ill are exempt from the law?
Release =/= pardon. Over 41 years mate. He was 23 when he did it in 1974, he must be 64 or 65 now.
He's already lost his life. Why is an old man still being held after all this time? No one even died.
>HE A GOOD BOI, WAS GONNA GIB DA MONEY TO CHARITY, H-HE DINDU NUFFIN
Fuck off, the guy is a criminal, and a defective human, "mental health help" is a meme created by islamic gommies in order to validate psychiatry as a legitimate medical practice, which charge extortionate rates and fund their socialist agenda.
Ian Ball has a big fuck off bug in his code that can only be fixed with a healthy dose of 9mm to the brain.
He could have shot Princess Anne but he didn't. He shot armed police who were shooting at him and people who were being violent with him.
I'm not trying to justify the crime, I'm trying to say he's already been inside for 41 years, he's probably been rehabilitated a hundred times over. Why is the taxpayer still paying the bills to keep him caged up when this shit happened in 1974?
because he is a mentally ill man who thought it was cash to shoot and abduct people.
He is lucky noone died, we shouldnt be giving him jack for that.
Why cant we let Charlies Bronson go then? It was all in the past m8 just a good laugh here eh lad?
Yes someone else who has never killed and has been held since 1974 too.
I genuinely have a view that crime should be dealt with punitive justice, I'd quite happily bring back execution in Britain for murderers, child murderers, child rapists.
These cases are a different ball game. People who have never killed should not be imprisoned for 4 decades.
the guy is an absolute fucking nutter, he is violent as fuck, and has spent his time in prison violently beating people up, smashing up his cell, threatening to kill guards etc
let him loose in Berlin, sure, but not in the UK m8.
I know I was just having a giggle about the idea of releasing Bronson, I quite honestly didn't expect to find a mainstream news article supporting the idea when I googled it.
Ball on the other hand has had a quiet 42 years for his 'mental illness' in Broadmoor. You don't think there's any injustice at all in being caged from the age of 23 to 65 having never took a life, well past the point of rehabilitation?
I'm not a liberal by the way, the opposite.
It just seems like this man should be released, if all things were to be fair and just.
I see I'll only get a negative reception from the posts so far in the thread so I'll piss off now, but it's sad that he's still banged up after all this time.
