Some sort of happening in Sunnybank Brisbane. Hotel surrounded by about 20 SERT officers, heavily armed. Probably about another 20 in regular uniform cops. I'm live on the scene. Can't get closer but, area's tapped off. Report claims that there is domeone held up in a room with a screwdriver. But I call bullshit, there's no way they would need a tactical response team for one guy with a screwdriver.

I'm not saying it's an appropriately proportional response to a guy with a screwdriver, but I imagine SWAT teams to be fairly jumpy for action and excitement considering how much training and preparation they do to how much is actual operating.
Also there's no specific rule that you can only 3 or so dudes per screwdriver or whatever.
