>Site is up, but slowing.
>Calling them is iffy, but worth a shot.
>The reviews are still coming in hot.
>Leave Jarrid a nice complement at his pizza shop.
Sorry, I thought since the other thread reached the limit, maybe people still wanted to talk about this.
Ah, my bad.
>A Westport used car dealership has become the focus of a social media firestorm today, thanks to a video circulating online of people, allegedly at the dealership, berating a pizza delivery man over a tip.
>This all started with a video posted on LiveLeak.com on Sunday. In it, several employees of a used car dealership, reported to be F & R Auto Sales in Westport, can be seen explaining a misunderstanding over the payment and tip for a $12 delivery.
>Judging by the video, the employees didn't intend for the $20 in small bills that they left for the delivery man for their $12 order to include $8 as a tip. So they called the restaurant back to rectify the situation. The delivery man returned (that's what the video is of, the return visit) and tried to explain his take on the situation. After which the employees threaten to get him fired and do damage to his ... backside.
I hadn't seen the video yet and that really rustled my jimmies as a delivery driver. I work in an area with plenty of blacks, so I don't get butthurt over every non-tip, but no black would pay $20 in ones for a $12 order and expect the money back and act like that. Most of the time if they don't tip they at least have exact change.
>bill is $13
>give 15 $1 bills an 1 $5 equaling $20
>he assumes that the extra $7 is a tip since if they weren't going to give a tip they would just give hiim $13
>he tells them that it's $13 for all of it
>don't tell him the extra $7 is not a tip
>calls his manager over $7 dollars to make him look like an ass
>tell him he is on video and they want him to lose his job
Yeah, it's all about the tip.
>used car dealership orders $13 pizza
>dealer gives delivery guy 20 one dollar bills
>delivery guy assumes the extra ones are a tip and leaves
>dealer calls pizza place demanding his "change" and that the delivery guy be fired
>pizza place makes delivery guy go back to the dealership and return the cash
>dealer and co-workers verbally abuse him
