I do think that it is in man's nature to put his own interests above the interests of others. The politicians don't want to do any work because it's just easier. At the same time as a law abiding citizen the reality is you cannot rely on the police to save your life (Even if the police is good). Freedom is having the right to self-determination, and self-determination includes a citizen choosing the right to live. I think Mexico needs to legalize guns to all citizens so they can choose to fight back or be oppressive. Regardless it'll be their own choice.
