>Zero hour is approaching for the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) offensive eastern Salamiyah, meaning the Islamic State’s (ISIL) presence in central Syria will soon come to an end.
>With thousands of soldiers mobilized in eastern Hama, including their Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army has its sights set on the strategic town of ‘Uqayrbat, which is their most important stronghold in the central part of the country.
>Losing ‘Uqayrbat will be a major loss the Islamic State will not be able to recover from, as the town is situated along a strategic roadway that leads to the terrorist group’s stronghold of Sukhnah to the east and the Palmyra-Homs Highway to the south.

The pro-government units involved in this upcoming battle are the following:

Tiger Forces (Cheetah Forces branch)
Liwaa Al-Quds (Palestinian paramilitary)
11th Tank Division
National Defense Forces (NDF)
Qalamoun Shield (3rd Armored Division)
Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP)

Can someone give me an honest redpill on Al Qaeda

According to various sources, it was AQ officers who trained the Somali militia in hitting helicopters and an AQ officer himself who shot down super 64 in Mogadishu in 1993.

AQ also operates against US in Iraq etc.

But who funds them?

From I know they're supposed to be Saudi / UAE sponsored, but those countries are US / Israeli allies, so how does that make any sense at all?

>Syrian choppers drop thousands of leaflets demanding jihadists surrender northwest Aleppo
BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:30 P.M.) – Syrian helicopters dropped thousands of leaflets over the ‘Anadan Plain of northwest Aleppo, Monday, demanding the jihadists surrender or leave this area immediately.

The leaflets were specifically dropped by the Syrian Air Force over the towns of Hayyan, ‘Anadan, Haritan, and Kafr Hamra.

The Syrian military has issued this warning to the jihadist rebels in northwest Aleppo before; however, they refrained from carrying out their ‘Anadan offensive because of a short-lived ceasefire that was declared in the region.

For the jihadist rebels, the ‘Anadan Plain is their most important stronghold in the province; if lost, it would likely lead to their expulsion from the western part of Aleppo.

Like the Right wing organizations were created during the Cold warto combat communism in Latin America and elsewhere. The US funded Islamic extremism to combat communism in the middle east during the Cold war and now uses these groups to destabilize any country that they deem as against their interests or resising their control, and enters those countries under the pretext of fighting terrorism. The US uses gulf countries and third parties to fund, arm and support these groups.

Le Jihadi boogeyman to justify Western imperialism ventures in 3rd world countries. Also, to strip your citizens of their freedoms and rights to dilute their objection to these ventures. Also, they (military industrial complex) create customers (AQ, ISIS) to sell their weapons to.

>Somali militia

What kind of "Somali militia". IIRC Somalia collapsed when their dictator in chief died in 1991 and all hell broke lose in the country when there was nobody around to replace him.

Then a coalition of islamists took over (probably those guys who shot 64 in Mogadishu in 1993).

Neighbouring countries werent too happy and neighbouring Kenya/Uganda and some other countries bulldozed the islamist government to restore 'peace' to the country. This caused more ruckus in the country as the foreign forces were unable to do shit, the islamists were broken and eventually turned into even more radical islamists, aka Al-Shabaab (The AQ affiliate we know today). The country is in a war between the gov (that really doesnt exist) and the Kenyan, Ugandan and various other troops stationed in the country and the AQ-linked Al Shabaab.

Al Qaeda doesn't exist in Iraq anymore, althought they did exist. They started with Jama'at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad, then became Al Qaida in Iraq (AQI), later turned into ISI (Islamic state in Iraq), and eventually morphed into what we know as ISIS today. Somewhere along the lines when between ISI and ISIS they broke off from Al Qaida central and became independant.

You have to understand how Al Qaida functions. First there is the 'base Al Qaida' which isint really anything other than the leadership. They basically coordinate the whole thing. Then there is the multiple affiliates. Al Qaida in Iraq, Al Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula, Al Qaida in Yemen, Al Qaida in the Maghreb, Al Qaida in the Indian Subcontinent, Nusra, Al Shabaab. All these organizations are technically Al Qaida, but are allowed leeway and some freedom in how they operate to fit the needs of the countries they operate in. (Like how Nusra needed to pretend they are totally moderate and had to embed itself in the opposition). Al Qaida in Iraq was always the most brutal, ruthless branch which is why they probably morphed into ISIS.

I get the whole AQ being a US-Saudi-Israeli project to legitimize wars in the middle east surrounding Iran - Libanon - Syria

But why would (((they))) have sent AQ to train Mogadishu militia against American helicopters in Somalia?

I'm guessing one of the following:

A) AQ still had rogue elements outside CIA / Mossad / Saudi control, but sending specialized commandos to Mogadishu to train vs American helicopters must be organized at the highest level

B) It is invented propaganda to enforce the legitimization of invading Afghanistan.

It seems odd that AQ experts were training militia against American helicopters and were present on that day and even shot down the famous super 64.

There isin't any strong evidence to support that Saudi/UAE supports Al Qaida, infact Al Qaida has done multiple terror attacks in Saudi and constantly attacks them for working together with the United States/Israel and such.

Qatar is a different story, they have a very "special" relationship with Al Qaida, and basically support/fund them (in some cases). In other cases they are totally opposed to them. It's complicated.

Highly possible. But remeber this only the leadership of these groups is in the pocket of US but the local fighter dosent not know that and they truly believe that they are fighting the great satan.
>B) It is invented propaganda to enforce the legitimization of invading Afghanistan.
Like the above very possible but also consider that with a terrorists organization present in Africa the US has a pretext to stay in there and build bases especially so critical an area as the Horn of Africa overlooking the the strait of mandeb (the US does not have a base in Somalia but they do operate from a large base in Djibouti). So the american public had to be shown that these guys were a serious threat in order for them to demand action against them.

Thanks for the info

How much is actually known about the funding behind AQ?

It seems weird to me that Qatar / Saudi support AQ while simultaneously hosting the biggest US bases in the Middle East.

They need the US to keep Iran / Iraq / Syria / Lebanon in check, so why fight the US by proxy through AQ?

On the other hand I've heard that the Saudis and Qataris have a fierce rivalry and perhaps try to dispose of each others foreign policy in the region through AQ funding (differs from region to region I guess)

To spread war, grasshopper. They want to kill their own -- and they want to continue keepig AQ etc. around as an impetus to create more war. The purpose is to create fear that the (((Jews))) may experience a new shoah at the hands of the Muslims, therefore providing a sort of stabilizing membrane to keep Israel from destroying itself.

America and Saudi both actively support AQ & ISIS financially and materially, i.e. weapons and money. The saudi's buy weapons from the americans, who turn a blind eye and pretend they dont see saudi's giving the weapons to isis/aq etc.

They do not however support the political aims of isis.

ISIS/AQ/FSA are merely tools with which to destabilise the region, to give impetus to the idea that without america everything is fail. They support isis and co while they destabilise.

They were hoping that isis would kill assad, and that the yanks would then be able to enter syria to save the day.

It's like giving guns to drug dealing gangs, you do so because you know they will kill each other. The blow back you forget about is that they will kill non gang members too. But you are making money, they are dying and the drug trade becomes more expensive.

>Syrian Army reinforcements, supplies arrive in Deir Ezzor via helicopter
BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:00 P.M.) – Syrian Arab Army (SAA) reinforcements poured into the Deir Ezzor Governorate, Monday, after several military choppers landed at the 137th Brigade Base near the western entrance of the provincial capital.

According to a military source in Deir Ezzor, at least six helicopters carrying reinforcements and supplies landed so far today at the 137th Brigade Base after making the short journey from the Al-Qamishli District of the Hasakah Governorate.

The reinforcements will be concentrated in the western part of the city, where they will aid the army in driving back the Islamic State (ISIL) terrorists from the Panorama area.

With several military operations against the Islamic State forces taking place across the country, the soldiers in the Deir Ezzor Governorate have been ordered to remain on the defensive for the most part until the siege is finally broken.

>A statistical breakdown of army losses in recent southern Raqqa fighting with ISIS
BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:30 P.M.) – Recently, the elite Tiger Forces Division of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) experienced one of its hardest days in the entire Syrian War. 48 hours ago, when the formation began to storm four towns it had methodically outflanked along the western bank of the Euphrates, ISIS launched a large counterattack spearheaded by more than ten vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices (VBIED).

Although fighting alongside pro-government tribal militia groups, the Tiger Forces nonetheless bore the brunt of the ISIS counterattack. It was their checkpoints that soaked up most of the jihadist faction’s VBIED attacks and their storming troops who entered the fiercely defended towns which straggle the Euphrates’ western bank.

According to a recently released statement by an unnamed Tiger Forces commander, in storming the town of Shinan, the division’s Termah Group suffered 13 dead whilst the Taha Group endured twelve dead. Moreover, the Shaheen Group lost 4 soldiers killed in action and the ‘Machine-Gunners’ Group lost eight fighters. Total wounded among all these units was in excess of fifty troops.
Lastly, an ISIS attack on the checkpoints of the Rumeylah Field and its nearby crossroad saw another six soldiers killed and 15 wounded.

The statement went on to say that ISIS had itself suffered “folds” more losses as a result of the engagement although no specific number was given.

Despite the fact that ISIS was able to gain a temporary operational jump on the Tiger Forces in southeastern Raqqa, the formation’s soldiers shrugged off the shock of the terrorist assault quickly and launched a counterattack within hours, recapturing all key points which they had lost and re-securing their main communication line all whilst, interestingly enough, maintaining pressure on ISIS forces along the Euphrates.

Anti-Qatar bloc opens ‘emergency routes’ to Qatari planes
Four Arab states that have cut diplomatic and transport ties with Qatar said Monday that they have opened up air routes that Qatari planes can use in case of emergency. The United Arab Emirates’ Foreign Ministry said that nine corridors were being opened in coordination with the International Civil Aviation Organization, or ICAO. The official Saudi Press Agency issued a similar statement. Qatar denied that any new routes had been made available. It said no navigation announcements have been released outlining the new corridors. (AP)

Philippine troops capture key bridge near Marawi militants
The Philippine military says troops have captured a key bridge leading to the main position of Islamic State-linked militants in the southern city of Marawi, but that troops won’t stage a major assault and will instead press efforts to rescue civilian hostages. Military spokesman Brig. Gen. Restituto Padilla said Monday that government troops gained control of Mapandi bridge last week. The bridge leads to Marawi’s interior business district, where just 40 to 60 remaining militants are believed to be holding 80 to 100 hostages, mostly in a large mosque. President Rodrigo Duterte has ordered troops to ensure the safety of the hostages and not launch a massive assault. (AP)

Food access in Syria’s Raqqa at ‘critical turning point’
Food access in Syria’s battle-torn Raqqa is now at “a critical turning point,” aid organizations said Monday. Raqqa has been gripped by fierce fighting for nearly two months and the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces have ousted Islamic State from half of the northern city. An assessment released Monday by REACH, a network of humanitarian organizations operating around Raqqa, painted an increasingly dire picture. “While in previous weeks residents were able to purchase some food at markets… residents are now relying entirely on food stored from previous weeks,” it said. Food prices have also skyrocketed. The UN estimates that between 20,000 and 50,000 people are still in Raqqa, but REACH said the number could be as low as 10,000. (AFP)

When two thirds of the country is under ceasefire and there's no political controversy over the current combat (everyone wants ISIS gone at this point), there isn't a whole lot to talk about except for the trickle of gains. There's been so much hype around breaking the DeZ siege, that's all everyone seems to want to happen at this point (and to a lesser extent Sukhnah and the collapse of the Homs pocket).

Indian PM Modi says flood-hit people getting aid, blames climate change
Authorities across India are taking steps to help millions of people hit by floods, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, adding that climate change and new weather patterns were having a “big negative impact.” At least 130 people have died in western and northeastern parts of India and millions of people have been affected by floods that have submerged villages, washed away crops, destroyed roads and disrupted power and phone lines. Heavy monsoon rains have caused mighty rivers like the Brahmaputra river and their tributaries to burst their banks forcing people into relief camps in states such as Gujarat, Assam, Rajasthan and West Bengal. Iraqi general sees easy victory over exhausted ISIS fighters in Tal Afar
A senior Iraqi general predicted a relatively easy victory for his forces in the upcoming battle for the Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) haven of Tal Afar as up 2,000 fighters and their families there are “worn out and demoralized.” Less than one month after declaring victory in the city of Mosul, Iraqi forces are poised to attack Tal Afar, which is around 40km to the west of Mosul. “I don’t expect it will be a fierce battle even though the enemy is surrounded,” Major-General Najm al-Jabouri said. Jabouri, a key battlefield commander, said the fight would be simple compared to the nine months of grueling urban combat in Mosul, which took a heavy toll on Iraqi forces. (Reuters)

Qatar launches wide-ranging WTO complaint against trade boycott
Qatar filed a wide-ranging legal complaint at the World Trade Organization on Monday to challenge a trade boycott by Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and United Arab Emirates, Qatar’s WTO representative Ali Alwaleed al-Thani told Reuters. By formally “requesting consultations” with the three countries, the first step in a trade dispute, Qatar triggered a 60 day deadline for them to settle the complaint or face litigation at the WTO and potential retaliatory trade sanctions. Qatar is also raising the boycott at a meeting of the UN International Civil Aviation Organization on Monday, al-Thani said.

>US can't do shit because the Norks have enough artillery aimed at Seoul to flatten it in 45 minutes and there is nothing the US can do about it.

This is blatant hyperbole. There is a massive number of artillery pieces aimed at Seoul that would cause numerous casualties in the first day of fighting but to suggest that it would flatten the city completely (and in 45 minutes none-the-less) is facetious. You over-estimate the capability of DPRK gunners and under-estimate US/ROK counter-strike forces (which have been planning for this eventuality for decades) as well as the size of Seoul itself.

Of all the artillery stationed near the DMZ only a limited number of it can reach the entirety of Seoul, with most limited to firing on the northern-most areas. The bulk of the artillery that can target Seoul would be the DPRKs MLRS, and any counter-strike focusing on these targets would limit the DPRKs ability to strike effectively. A complete operation to destroy the DPRKs conventional military hardware near the DMZ would take a significant amount of time, but as each hour passed the capabilities of the DPRK artillery would lessen significantly.

All of this assumes that the DPRK would choose to unveil and fire off all of its long-range artillery on the DMZ, rather than conceal some of it later for actual military engagements. Such a choice would be an extremely stupid military maneuver, and while the DPRK Government is crazy, it is certainly not stupid.

they seem too big for urns.
maybe some argricultural or military artefact.

the disposal site works
I guess a storage area would also work.
It has roads, but they seem to 'cut through' the humps ( so probably the humps are erected around the road, too expensive to cut a road into rock in the middle of nowhere) .

Im baffled. the humps themselves are rock/concrete/earth , the square could be anything from an agricultural way station ( rest camp with place to keep the livestock, to a weapons storage fac. Given the open space inside the square I'd be tempted to say it is for animals ) . But I have no clue what the humps are. maybe it's where suheil buries the broken ones.

Alternatively, the humps could be loads of sand, dumped next to the road. the sand is collected inside the box, to keep the 'pond' open, and then dumped outside. a truck/pickup/graderbucket sized load)

that way u bring your sheep, keep them inside, they drink, next day they go graze, then u come back. used seasonally.

Funny you post that because it's the image that accompanied my source for the artillery range.

http://archive.is/3SdiM

>This is an extreme scenario, however, and one in which North Korea chooses to expose all of its most advanced rocket artillery systems simultaneously, suffers no failures, and chooses to direct all of them against Seoul itself. Yet in northern parts of Seoul, well within range of Koksan 170-mm self-propelled guns and 240-mm multiple rocket launchers, a more intense volume of fire could be achieved even if North Korea is prudent enough not to expose all of its capable artillery pieces.

>It is also unlikely that North Korean artillery fire would be sustained at great volume. Even an initial mass volley imposes great risk to the artillery systems themselves, making them vulnerable to counter-battery fire. This means casualty rates would drop significantly after the initial barrage, limiting potential civilian casualties to thousands of dead rather than tens of thousands, as has been speculated in some instances.

Concentration of artillery means nothing if the vast majority of your guns can't reach the center of your designated target.

That assumption though implies that American and Israeli govt is a monolith. America's previous fuckery like the Iran contra ended up coming to light pretty quickly. The idea that American or Israeli govt operate as hivemind is nonsensical. The idea that any particualr Israeli or American govt will get away with it in more than 5 years time is also nonsensical. There are many agencies and bureaucracies that keep Israeli govt and American govt in check.

If Saudi Arabia was financing ISIS it wouldn't have problems paying its fighters. And if Saudi Arabia was financing ISIS and AQ, those groups would be bombing Western capitals daily and there wouldn't be anything the West would do about it except invade Saudi Arabia.

>They do not however support the political aims of isis.
>ISIS/AQ/FSA are merely tools with which to destabilise the region

This is retarded. Saudi Arabia is part of the same region. Every increase in insurgency has led to increase in attacks within Saudi Arabia that threaten Saudi rule. Case in point: the 2004 assassinations attempt. Saudi Arabia has been having yearly attacks https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_terrorist_incidents_in_Saudi_Arabia

sure. there is still a pretty heavy desity in the north west. even just nailing the outside of that mass would push civs south ( not a big deal, but still another deal to deal with )

along the border tho, being able to dump a thousand tons of he per sqkm is impressive. thats enough overkill to keep huge numbers of batteries in reserve.

I would think tho that the north koreans would play to their strengths ( lots of them ). SO i'd see the north annihilating the border and then zerging south.

Ultimately, I don't think the usa will get to invade tho, china would never tolerate that. China would simply occupy north korea before the usa could land troops.

there is no way a usa friendly unified korea is going to be allowed to border on china. none. zero. zilch.

Are you pretending everything comes to light?

Hillary email implies that US gov was fully aware of Saudi and Qatari support for "ISIL and other radical Sunni groups"
If the mail hadnt leaked we wouldve never known that US gov officials freely admitted such info internally.

Btw, look at arms shipments for miniscule "moderate" groups in Idlib. The US fully knew, 100%, that such shipments end up in AQ hands. They hid their support behind moderates, while in actuality not caring who it ends up with as long as Idlib fighters have weapons to weaken/oppose Syrian gov.
That ultimately ends up being AQ support, but they still have a weak excuse to hide behind - IMO thats how such support is done, of course it isnt directly.

If such things are stated with such certainty in internal emails Im inclined to believe them.

>If Saudi Arabia was financing ISIS it wouldn't have problems paying its fighters. And if Saudi Arabia was financing ISIS and AQ, those groups would be bombing Western capitals daily and there wouldn't be anything the West would do about it except invade Saudi Arabia.
Not necessarily true at all. Saudi Arabia tries to finance jihadi groups against opponents but such groups tend to grow out of control (such as ISIS), probably at that point the financing stops - jihadism is impossible to control but they do try.

One thing has nothing to do with the other. Maybe they don't have money to pay their fighters because they spent it all on weapons they are giving it all away.

>Saudi Arabia is part of the same region. Every increase in insurgency has led to increase in attacks within Saudi Arabia that threaten Saudi rule.

nah. nothing serious, and nothing like the assad regime has faced. the truth is u give 1000 people guns, then one of them may want to shoot you, or use the weapons for his own axe grinding.

and there is no denying the fact that the weapons that saudio has been buying from america are supplied to the rebels. it's a fact.

and destabilising your enemies is standard practice. it's what south africa used to do in it's region, even tho it was part of the same region.

Hillary is incompetent and she can't even handle basic emails. The idea that she knows what's happening in the world is ridiculous. The only thing she's good at is lucking out at marrying Bill Clinton and being a typical defense lawyer. That's it. Her position as secretary of state is probably one of the worst performances. Appealing to her person is not an argument because she fails to qualify.

>Btw, look at arms shipments for miniscule "moderate" groups in Idlib. The US fully knew, 100%, that such shipments end up in AQ hands.
No. They felt there was a risk (not 100%). And it happened to some extent. That doesn't mean the risk was 100%. Just like if you roll a dice and hoping for a 6, it doesn't mean you had 100% chance of getting a 6. America thought that those weapons getting in Alqaeda hand was no big deal since there was no Stingers and TOWs need to be resupplied which AQ won't be able to get. It was a cost vs benefit analysis. You may not agree with it but that doesn't mean that wasn't what went through the Obama administration's and the CIA's mind. Most of the weapons the Idlib fighters have was weapons they own or weapons they bought from corrupt regime military members.

>IMO thats how such support is done, of course it isnt directly.
There is no pragmatic reason for the US to support Al Qaeda. Assad from the point of view of Trump admin and Obama admin is not a greater evil. That's why Obama didn't invade Syria and that's why Trump didn't either. And there was never real hunger to do a regime change without military boots on the ground.

Yeah, but what really convinced him was he saw a young soldier in line at the bank with a huge bandage over half his face. He had been sent home after being hit with an IED. My dad started talking to him, and it had been his 3rd tour to Iraq. My dad asked why the hell he was still a private and hadn't been promoted a single time, and he said "oh, I weigh too much so they won't promote me" and my dad said he wasn't even really that fat, just tall, muscular, but kind of bulky like a defensive end in football.

Anyway, that really pissed my dad off that this guy had spent 3 tours in Iraq, gotten his face blown apart by an IED, and was still refused any sort of promotion because he was big boned (and not in the meme way).

I had a conversation about this with a GermanAnon a few days back and I'll try to summarise my own view on it.

Right now there are at a fundamental level, two options for the US: 1)Live with the new reality that the DPRK will achieve the ability to miniaturise and mount nuclear warhead onto an ICBM in the near future, or 2) Proceed with planned actions that would hopefully prevent this from happening. Each of these options have their own issues, for me personally, the first option the "acceptance/appeasement" option is the worst, and I'll explain why.

The corner-stone of global security for the past several decades has been the NPT (Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty) enforced back in 1970. Almost every nation on the planet has signed up to this treaty, the only exceptions being India, Pakistan, Israel and South Sudan. The unwillingness of the former three to refuse to become signatories becomes apparent when you realise that they all have nuclear weapons of a varying degree, while South Sudan itself is a relatively new nation and would thus not have signed up to it yet. There is only one nation to have withdrawn from the NPT, and it is the DPRK.

Assuming that the US followed through on the policy of acceptance, then it would be signalling to the world at large that withdrawing from the NPT and pursuing your own nuclear weapons program will be met with little resistance. Consider that a nation such as the DPRK, which has been sanctioned for over a decade and is by all means, a backwards nation, can produce a nuclear ICBM without US intervention, then any nation can. We know that the DPRK exchanges military technology with Iran, so it is entirely plausible to suggest that they would be the next nation (after the DPRK) to withdraw from the NPT and pursue their own nuclear weapon policy. I don't have to explain to /sg/ what Iran having nuclear ICBMs would mean for peace in the ME.

The second option is action against the DPRK. This can come in many forms, and there are only two politically tenable options in this regard. Further sanctions against the DPRK and foreign-entities linked to the DPRK, or using military force to down and further DPRK missile tests. Both of these are unlikely to work. Sanctions can take up to a decade to work (if they work at all), and downing a missile (while looking great politically) doesn't solve the underlying issue.

So what's left? Military intervention by strategic bombardment of known nuclear testing sites in the DPRK which has the possibility of starting an actual war (through reciprocal escalating actions on both sides), or actual invasion by joint US/ROK and potentially Japanese forces. At a glance neither of these seem at all feasible given the potential loss of life in both military personnel and civilians (especially in and around Seoul). However, given the alternatives (acceptance or action which does nothing to halt the missile program) what choice do they have? This entire issue eventually boils down to what is the least worst option. Given the long-term strategic implications of the DPRK having the capability of using nuclear-tipped ICBMs (of moderate effectiveness) and what that means for the NPT around the world, not to mention that this would be a strategic game-changer on the Korean peninsula which could easily be used as leverage to undermine the ROK-US alliance it appears to me that the US is slowly being backed into a corner, and they're only just starting to realise it now.

With this in mind I believe it's safe to suggest that a military conflict is possible in the future unless there is a major diplomatic breakthrough. The diplomatic breakthrough in question would have to be the removal of all DPRK nuclear weapons, and that simply won't happen. The DPRK knows that if it gives up it's nukes it will suffer from a revolution caused by our boys over at Langley in the near future.

>One thing has nothing to do with the other. Maybe they don't have money to pay their fighters because they spent it all on weapons they are giving it all away.
Except it does. The payment the fighters get is nothing in comparison to weaponry, which is mostly something they got form the Iraqi military anyway. Saudi has so much money they can easily bankroll ISIS for generations, including the families of he fighters and have them live in nice villas. This is a country that has a higher GDP per capita PPP than many European countries.

>nah. nothing serious, and nothing like the assad regime has faced. the truth is u give 1000 people guns, then one of them may want to shoot you, or use the weapons for his own axe grinding.

Of course it's not like Assad faces because the Saudi regime unlike the Assad regime knows how to crackdown protestors and doesn't have a problem beheading in public anyone who seems problematic They are more accurate in their severity. On top of it, they've been fighting terrorists since 2004. Assad has suddenly gotten big problems in 2011-2012. Saudi already had 7 years of experience by the time of the Arab spring.

>and there is no denying the fact that the weapons that saudio has been buying from america are supplied to the rebels. it's a fact.
Rebels? Maybe. Albeit I'd argue Saudi Arabia lost interest in Syria for more than a year now. Supporting ISIS and AQ? No.There is no greater blasphemy to ISIS and AQ types of people than those who have custody of the two holy mosques, yet shake hands with "satanic America".

>and destabilising your enemies is standard practice.
Not when the factions used to destabilize are among the top greatest threat the govt faces. This wouldn't be like Saudi Arabia supporting Baloch insurgents in Iran (which they might do or already have done).

There's also a difference supporting/ignoring extremists who have local aspirations and those who have global or regional aspirations (AQ and ISIS).

>Theres no way in fuck that shed forward a piece, from an intelligence source, that literally names great US allies and great Clinton Foundation sponsors Saudi Arabia as supporter of ISIS, if there was no actual evidence for it.

Because the US intelligence was so on point when they found out about Iraq still having WMDs? You're talking out of your ass. I bet you're the same fuck that doesn't trust the US govt except when it miraculously lines up with conclusions that fits your emotions. In what world does a govt that fucks up an entire campaign always right? Heck, Hillary herself is not always right. She's actually almost always wrong.

ISIL wasnt as tainted then yet as it is now, how is clandestine Saudi support at that time not possible?

How is it funny? ISIS is an existential threat to Saudi family and the Saudi state. Now if you claim Saudi fucked up by funding some group and didn't do their homework because that group joined ISIS, that's one claim.

>FSA and ISIL still fought alongside

First this assumes FSA is one entity. This is very dubious after 2014 and it still is dubious before it. Second, your argument makes no sense unless you imply that Saudi Arabia dictates every single move that FSA makes which is ridiculous. On top of it, FSA was supported by many countries including Turkey (who'd have more influence on rebels located in North Syria which is where the airbase is).

>Hillary disgusts me, Im merely using a source.

A source that you put a lot of faith in. You'd either have to be a complete devout believer or desperate.

North Korea is not backwards tho.

It makes it's own electronics, it's own rockets, its own nukes etc.

It has a free market system. and one of the primary forces preventing north korea from growing and becomeing better is 30 years of western led sanctions.

>We know that the DPRK exchanges military technology with Iran

No we don't know. we know that the yankee press wants us to believe they are all part of a big spider web of evil threatening the world, but the only webs of evil I can see is the USA.

and u have to face up to the fact that an nuclear iran would probably lead to a power balanced ME, which is far more peaceful than at present.

>>135659024

there are options 3 & 4 too.

3) normalise relations with north korea and open trade gradually or whatever in a n open honest way ( an approach no us governement has - they always played a trick hand - and that got us here )

4) you ignore the fact that china has no interest in rok/jap/usa forces getting into N.Korea. If it came down to that china would simply 'protectively occupy' the north, possibly leaving a zone of destabilisation against the current border.

Oh and WMDs in Iraq were real! You probably also deny that Assad used chemical weapons and reject intelligence sources you incompetent inconsistent troglodyte.

I don't care what you believe in. I can't change an idiots mind. But to any reasonable person that reads it, hopefully they'll see your implications are too nonsensical to accept.
