Native Americans are ALL descended from just a few thousand Mongolians just 18,000 to 8,000 years ago. They didn't have enough people to make giant cities (filled with disease) and they didn't have enough genetic diversity to adapt quickly to diseases.

Maybe, but it depends a lot. The Incas used lots of metal weapons, and were already experimenting with metals amalgamation. In the case of the Chibcas, which I always found interesting, is the level of metallurgy they accomplished and the detail of the gold stuff they made.

Besides, obsidian wasn't used south of Mesoamerica.
