Im a 90's kid but didnt have cellphones until I was in 7 grade. So I was last generation to ride my bike to the store without some pussy GPS tracking and a helmet.

We are in the infancy stages of the Technological period. At some point the world as a whole needs to come together and figure out what to do. Because pretty soon robots can handle 90 percent of all jobs. Where do we displaced humans go? What is our value if we do not work and earn? It's been well documented by various YouTubers of varying reputation.

Genrally, what people have gathered from these videos is that some company, likely Indian or Chinese companies, create monetized YouTube videos with content and titles that appeal to children.

What they typically do is they flood the title of the video with a topic that interests children and make it as clickbait-y and with as many keywords as possible to attract childish viewers who simply surf YouTube based on words alone, and so that they show up in search functions for things kids like, like "Spiderman" or "Elsa".

As for the content itself, its very disturbing but more often than not you'll see that videos on such channels follow a formula and all they do is swap out art assets now and again for slight variations of the same old thing. Chances are, the "company" is using a program to use pre-rendered art assets to produce clones of the same videos with slight variations. Doesn't matter as long as it'll get the kids watching.

Another explanation for the high amount of "views" is that these same companies will use bots to "watch" the videos and drive up view counts, and since the videos are monetized, they collect money from these "views" regardless of whether it's an IP ping on the video or someone actually watching it.

Now, as for all the weird fetish-y stuff that might occur in a video like that, I can't explain it. Think of poo-in-loo culture, they simply wouldn't understand what would be considered vulgar to a proper Western child or not.

It doesn't affect them as much. The people making these video just want the YouTube money, but they make so much off of YouTube monetization and advertisement anyway they rarely directly target them.

They can't target the channel and only individual videos, and with literally hundreds of thousands of these videos linked to hundreds of channels, it would be quite the operation to flag enough videos to get the channels shut down.

The reason would be simple, for control. Less people questioning the standard cultural hegemony of the "American" imperial system and its economic and social model. Can you provide a reason why they would not? There are less people are watching TV these days, and seeing less movies in theaters, which means they would have to shift their messaging. It isn't even up for debate that the US government already controls what can go on TV, they have literal agencies for this. I'm not saying its the case, I'm saying the probability is higher than you seem to think.
